1998 28' HiLo Classic for sale

Sadly, we are selling our 'baby." Purchased in 2003, it is in very good condition. There are a few "owies" that need to be addressed in the interior, but all equipment is working. We have unused electric jack that will go with the trailer. if interested, email: ehobbs1550@gmail.com for...

Looking for 17-19' Hi Lo, Mid-90's or newer

15' HiLo A little shorter than you requested, but we have a 2008 15' in excellent condition (3 owners). New electric jack and new kitchen faucet. Tires have a little less than 3,000 miles on them and have extra tires that we took off. We're in Oklahoma.

    Comfy bed ideas?

Noreene We'll be making a LONG trip from Oklahoma to Oregon in our "new to us" 15' Hilo Towlite named Shrimp. We do not want to leave the bed made up all of the time since we like to sit at the table and talk, drink coffee, etc. HOWEVER, we made a trial run last week - using the cushions on...

blinker/taillight LED bulbs for 2008 HiLo Towlite 15'

I suspect that Useless sent the response - regardless, thanks. I'm looking for all the information I can get, but intend to make the change. P.S. Love that name - we have two useless daschunds (according to my hubby)!

blinker/taillight LED bulbs for 2008 HiLo Towlite 15'

Again, thanks. You're right about the LEDs being instant instead of having to warm up. I have replaced ALL the lights in our 2200 sq. ft. home w/LEDs and not only are they brighter, they'll last longer AND they knocked $40 off my electric bill the first month!! Since we like them so much in...

blinker/taillight LED bulbs for 2008 HiLo Towlite 15'

Thanks, Jack. I've replaced all of the interior lights, but thought this might be something that would help with visibility. Can you give me an idea regarding that? I checked the "red" as suggested.

blinker/taillight LED bulbs for 2008 HiLo Towlite 15'

Anyone know of a source for LED bulbs for tail lights/turn signals? They are different from the interior lights in that they have 2 contacts instead of one. I'd like to replace our trailer's lights.

    15T or 17T Experiences

Gary, Jack & Hilltool: Resolved. We purchased a new telescoping leg. There was apparently a MAJOR alteration and the solid leg was too long to allow the table to drop down. We are still not certain how the other laminated piece fits except as part of the bed frame. The small "leaf" will now...

    15T or 17T Experiences

The leg is hinged to the underside of the table, but when we swing it up, it is several inches too long and hits the wall before allowing the table to drop down into place. Like I mentioned, it does not have the "telescoping holes" so that you can adjust the length of the leg. Thanks for the...

    15T or 17T Experiences

We just purchased a 15' HiLo and are taking it out for the first time next week. Our problem is making a bed where the table is located. The leg on the table does not telescope and we can't get the table to "go down" to the level of the side seats. Our 28' HiLo has a table that drops down for...

how about a different type of seal?

I made WORMS in a colorful (coordinating) fabric and stuffed them with strips of foam rubber (an old mattress topper)! We use them summer/winter to keep hot/cold air out. They are so distinctive that you don't forge to remove them when you are lowering the trailer. TBeing flat, I just roll...

110 lower part of 1998 HiLo not working

Thanks everyone. We've already checked these out at Home Depot - plan to install them in 3 bathrooms and kitchen. With the amount of rain we've been having (and are getting flooded again), may want to put them throught the entire ark (I mean house!). Elizabeth

110 lower part of 1998 HiLo not working

That did it!!!! Of course, I had to Google CFI, but the minute I saw a pix, I scatted out to the HiLo - both CFIs were off - I punched them on, off and then back on and PRESTO! Electricity. Guess that 10" of rain in a few days told them to turn off. Now, when my hubby comes in, I can tell him...

110 lower part of 1998 HiLo not working

There is probably a simple solution, but, while the A/C and fans in the top half of our trailer work, the lower half (plug ins, refrigerator, etc.) do not. We have checked fuses and breakers. What are we missing? Oh yes, it IS plugged in!!! Thanks for any responses!! HiLo Duffer
