Air conditioners, the vent ducts are not working!!!

Okay, I tried out the air conditioners today and to say I am disappointed is truly an understatement!! First I turned on the bedroom air. It cooled the bedroom and head just fine. I then closed the vents in the bedroom and head to check out how the rest of the duct system worked and frankly it...

Any Dometic Air Conditioner Experts/Techs on this site

My front Dometic AC is dripping water inside the coach (I know, shocking) from the rear of the unit where the cold air 'dump' vent is when I use it. A few days ago I took off the roof cowling and was trying to see where the water was getting in when I noticed a small (about 1/4" round) red...

    Air conditioning

I am new to this forum, but not new to rving. I bought a new (left over)2010 Wildcat 5th wheel, the 32bh2b. The problem I am having is that when the air conditioning is on, it all dumps to the rear of the camper. There is barely any air moving to the front bedroom. If I open the main dump it...

    A/C A.C. connection leak

We have a 2009 Rockwood HW296. We really like this camper. However, when folded down the Air Conditioner (A/C) power (A.C.) plug on the roof appears to leak in a driving rain. I say this as in the past we have opened it up after a hard rain to find the curtain right behind the plug soaking...

Air conditioner makes crackling sound and trips breaker

I wonder if anyone has had this problem. In the evenings, after our rooftop air conditioner has been running for some time, it starts to make a kind of crackling sound, makes the lights dim and ends up tripping its own breaker and sometimes the power inverter. I had it checked out, and the RV...

    High/Low Fan Switch on Thermostat

Hi, I've got a newbie question. We have a new Rockwood Ultra-Light 2304s with Airxcel rooftop air conditioner and Coleman-Mach "analog" thermostat. There is no difference between the high and low fan speed switch whether in heat, cool, or fan position. Has anyone else experienced this? Is...

Air conditioner runoff....where does it go?

I have a 2008 Wildwood that is currently not leveled yet. It is leaning slightly to the left and the A/C condensation is running off the left side of the trailer and dripping on my stovetop vent housing casing. I was just wondering, when my trailer is leveled, where is all the condensation...

Dripping front Air Conditioner on '08 390bh

I have 2 Air conditioners in my 40' class A. The rear 13.5k btu AC functions fine with no dripping. The front 15k btu AC functions fine but will drip condensation that forms on the interior surfaces of the air conditioner. If I wipe the condensation off and leave the filter and grate off, it...

    Second air conditioner

We have a Sabre 32RCTS with a 15,500 BTU a/c in the living area. On really hot days it does not cool down the bedroom in the front even if we close the vent in the back. It is wired and set up for a second a/c in the bedroom. Our question is what size a/c is appropriate?
