Hi,
I am interested in thoughts....
In my haste to winterize my travel trailer I flushed all faucets and drains with antifreeze. However, I realized after the fact that I failed to drain all of the water first using the low point valves. The trailer is in Washington State until May, I'm in...
Hello all,
I just opened my 2022 GeoPro fbs, it's been winterized and stored since last fall. When I attach a hose to the city water inlet, water comes out of the antifreeze inlet. Am I failing to remember to open a valve somewhere? I am getting plenty of water in the sinks and toilets. I think...
I do not know exactly why this happened, but I thought I would share looking for a possible explanation or of it happens to someone else.....
I winterized the plumbing with RV antifreeze as I usually do. Started by blowing out all the lines then pumping in the propylene glycol rated to 50...
Hello Friends I hope you can help me on this one.
Im New to RV world. I used our RV for the first time in Winter. 2019 Sunseeker MBS 2400S. Ive never winterized it since we bought it new. I drove it from Vegas to Lake Tahoe last week. It was about 16 degrees in Lake Tahoe, we stayed in a motel...
Currently camping and we pulled our 2022 Rockwood Roo 233s in late last night when it was raining, dark, and cold. We accidentally connected the city water connection (which was using a pressure regulator) to the anti freeze inlet instead of the city water connection right next to it. The water...
Would there be any reason why I shouldn't use some RV antifreeze in the grey and black tanks after dumping them (to protect the dump valves) when staying in the RV with temperatures in the mid to low 20s during the night and the low 40s during the day?
My RV is parked "permanently" at an RV...
I’m knew to the forum and I’m not quite sure if this post is against the rules or anything. This might also be a silly question, but we are new to this!
Hello! I’m new here & to rv life. My partner and I just purchased a 2017 Salem a few months ago and just moved in for full time stationary...
Hello Everyone,
Newbie here...not new to motorhomes but new to Dynamax. I have "copied the mail" on this forum for several years, and find it to be one of the best.
Here's my question. I have just recently purchased a 2023 Dynamax DX3 34KD and am in the process of winterizing it. I've blown...
First winter with a rv, I'm opting to air out my fresh water lines with air, blew them twice so far, will do again. Little came out the second time.
Car needs the antifreeze changed, it's only a year old, wondering why i couldn't pour some in the toilet and sinks?
We have a 2023 40CRS equipped with a Seaflo water pump. Does anyone know if this pump is equipped to draw antifreeze into the water system? If not what are other owners using to get the antifreeze in the system?
I'm currently not at the RV but from the picture I took of the fresh water system...
I was breaking down this morning and noticed a steady drip of water from my antifreeze inlet at the rear of the camper next to the city water inlet, (only with city water connected).
Also, when I emptied my gray water it was extremely full and I know we didn't put more than a couple of gallons...
Its a 21 HS 2901, 40 gallon tank. I put a water hose to the city water connection till the water ran clear, the low point drain valve is open, should I completely fill the 40 gallon tank and let it drip out? Is there a better way to drain the tank?
There are quite a few mentions of the lackluster control panels for the AquaGo systems with the Rotary switch and how they tend to stop working. Our 2nd unit died this fall and I need to replace it again. I need one because we use the electric antifreeze kit when using our rig in winter months...
We are winterizing our camper and got antifreeze to all faucets except inside kitchen. We can hear the pump running, but nothing coming to this faucet. It worked fine to bathroom, shower, outside shower and outside kitchen sink.
What could we be missing or doing wrong that it's not pumping to...
Just for reference anyone winterizing their NoBo 19.6, there is an antifreeze intake tube inside the left side "nightstand".
The tube is connected with a valve inline with the line coming up from the fresh water tank. Turn the valve so it is in line with the tube.
Place tube in jug of...
Hi all. I have a 2010 Rockwood mini lite (20 ft) that we just recently purchased. I think I have just about everything figured out on it, except where does the pump draw in antifreeze for winterization? Most of the threads and videos that I have searched have newer models that has the antifreeze...
So whats the deal with antifreeze?
I have drained all tanks. Then blew out the plumbing system with air
So why flood the system with antifreeze?
Seems like a PIA to use antifreeze, especially when it comes to flushing the lines come warm weather?
I have been using Camco that came in a concentrated form which you add water into to dilute. Can't find that anymore. It was all propylene glycol, and now I cannot find any PG stuff for the life of me anywhere. Everything seems to be some sort of blend of alcohol and PG which I don't want to use.
Ok, it’s got to be something simple right?!? :)
When I power on the water pump, no matter what lever configuration I use the pick up tube just blows air out and bubbles over the antifreeze. I can’t get it to suck in for the life of me. Any ideas?
I have a 2020 Geo Pro 16BH and the past few weekends, while hooked up to city water, there is a steady drip coming from the antifreeze inlet port. Any ideas why this is happening?
it may be a few months early but, i was in the local hardware store today and they actually had a display set up of rv antifreeze. in past years they sold the camco brand but this year they had some other brand. i still have some of the camco left from last year but i will need more when i get...
I have a Flagstaff 2018 23FB microlight TT and I see fresh water dripping out from my antifreeze input valve. I use a pressure control valve to regulate my portable water from the campground hook up to my portable water input . When I incrementally increase the water pressure to 4 the fresh...
Hi,
I recently bought a used 2005 Gulfstream Independence and am doing some work on it and I noticed that the coolant for the engine was really low so I wanted to fill it but I am not sure what coolant to use for the engine.
Any help would be appreciated it.
We own a 2016 Coachmen Freelander Micro 20CB class C Motorhome. I winterized all the water and drain lines last November and see no evidence of leaks. Currently, we have no plans to go camping due to health issues and have the unit in storage. Is it Ok to leave it winterized with the RV...
At my local Walmart the Walmart brand of Rv antifreeze is on clearance for a dollar a gallon I bought enough for the next three years and only cost me 10 bucks so if anyone wants to stock up go check it out
