I want to add a bike rack to the bumper of the trailer. If I move the spare tire over to the left and add a bolt on hitch receiver to the right side then I can get a bike rack that goes into the receiver. With this set up I can carry the bikes on the trailer or the truck when not camping. The...
I'm planning to install a bike rack on the extended pin box of my Rockwood 5th wheel. Seems this would be a good place rather than hanging them off the rear bumper. When I had my TT, I carried the bikes in the truck bed, so didn't need a bike rack.
Anyway, I was surfing the web for "pin box...
I have read all the posts recommending against mounting to the rear bumper --- has anyone used a trunk/hatch mount type rack on the tow vehicle? I don't care about not being to open the back of the car -- but am concerned about having enough clearance between the SUV and the trailer for...
Hi,
I was wondering how you transport bikes. We have 5 and I didn't really want to put them on the roof of our Yukon XL. A bit high.
Is there a rack that can be mounted on the back?
Thanks.......Ken

Can anyone help me with finding a bike rack for the spare tire holder on the SV291? Or some other option if the rear bumper can't take the weight.
Thanks .
Question, On one thread we had talked about a bike rack and how it effects the tongue weight on a travel trailer and causing possible sway now how are things effected by towing a boat on the back of a 5th wheel as a double? I am aware of the two different campers and how they are connected to...

Hi everyone, I have upgraded to a 5er and now I have no place to put my bikes. I have seen numerous styles and brands from 1-1/4" to 2" bumper recievers to some nice ladder racks. I have a need for a minimum of 3 to possibly 5 bikes. anyone who has owned or known someone that has owned one...

This is my first time posting here, so Hello to all. Now with that said, I have a 2005 Rockwood Model 1980 Pop up camper and love it. However, we just picked up a (four bike) Bicycle rack from Liberty RV in Liberty, MO. My wife ordered it after seeing it on the Forest River website under the...
Recently purchased an 06 Silverback 29 ft. and are enjoying it. We want to take our bikes with us next time out and didn't know whether to go with bumper mount or lader mount. Someone told me the rear bumper wouldn't suport the bike rack and 2 bikes. Any opinions/advice would be apreciated.
Wife is in the mood to grab the bikes with us the next time we go camping and I'm all for it.
Anyone have any recommendations on which rack to get? Do you typically need a receiver extension? If so, which ones are good?
I've got a shank that's L-shaped. Probably about 8-10" long sticking out...
