We have a GEOPRO 16BH.
We dumped black tank and kept valve open. Then we hooked up the water hose to the tank flush with black tank valve still open. We turned on the water, kept the black water valve still open (like the warning sticker says) but didn’t see any water run out. We didn’t try it...
Dump stations are easy. 45 Gal black tank and 32 gal blue buddy. Our buddy has a little pop up indicator, do I trust this or how do you know when to dump or shut off the flow?
Thanks!!
My 2003 36 RLTS smells of sewer gas only after I dump the black tank. I have been living in full time for the last six months, just started having this problem about two weeks ago. I dump my tank every 5-6 days, any suggestions or comments will be greatly appreciated.
2017 Isata 3; on recent trip the black tank handle would not return to closed position. I find no damage underneath unit; I'm assuming the gate in the drain is stuck. No foreign objects in system; all I can think to do is fill tank about halfway and let it soak just in case solid matter is...
Hi all,
First timer here. My wife and I just purchased our first RV three days ago and we couldn't wait to take it for a spin. We bought a new 2021 Wildwood 26DBUD travel trailer. We used it for a quick 2 day camping trip at a local lake and everything went fine for the most part. We only had...
Any of you removed a black tank fitting that was assembled like this? It appears to be a rigid glue material that was used in this 2018 rig. Both black and gray Tanks used the same material/screw clamp assembly method.
No issues, just wondering how to repair if the need should arrive. I...
We have a 2016 Rockwood 2720WSRL 5th wheel. The black tank pull rod needs to be replaced it is 54 inches long and I can't seem to find one. Any suggestions?
I have a 2016 Rockford Ultra light 5th wheel. The black tank valve rod is 54" long and needs to be replaced. Does anyone where I can get one? all the kite are only 6 or 9 inches.
Thank You
Hello all. I have a 2020 Wildwood X-Lite 171rbxl. I have been going through all of the specs and it seems that there is supposed to be a black tank flush. Does anyone know where it's located? Somebody please throw me a bone. Thanks.
We have a 2017 cedar creek silverback 33ik. I have been using the black tank flush system without incident since new.
Today I went through the dump procedure as usual. However when I put pressure to the black tank flush system, water (fresh) began spurting from what I believe to be a vent...
You might find this hard to believe, I have owned my 2015 Georgetown 378xl since 2016 and due to a blocked tank problem, I found out after paying 350.00 dollars that my gray and black tanks are plumbed backwards! Gray handled valve plumbed to black tank with small piping and black handled...
Owner of 2019 Rockwood mini lite 2509s. Having 3 kids and 2 adults in trailer gets us max 2 days without need to dump gray and black tank. I know about totes, but did anybody change black tank for bigger one like for example this...
Any clue why the put the black tank flus on the opposite side of the dump valves on my rig style? I never use it because the hose doesn’t reach.
Has anyone tried to relocate it?
Hello all,
me and my wife are new to travel trailers. Most of my questions i was able to find in the other threads but one thing i had trouble with was the black tank. We will be doing a lot of weekend camping and want to use the convenience of our bathroom instead of the camp grounds. My...
The black tank flush seems to not be working on my camper. If I run water in the inlet, it may flow sporadically, but mostly I don't hear it filling. Second season, and I have used the flush valve with each use. Is this something I can repair myself? Is there any how-to resources out there...
So after 3 years of dealing with the front black tank open/close lever breaking, chaffing, just not working right...I took it in to a local RV repair shop to let them have a go at it, along with some other work that needed to be done. When I picked it up, I was amazed at how smooth the lever...
Good Afternoon,
I hope I save some searching for someone. We were leaving our campsite the other day on our shake down cruise. After grey empty followed by black empty, I hooked up the maintenance hose to the black tank flush connection in the plumbing bay at the back of the coach. When I...
So the issue was that the cable that goes from the control panel down to the drain valve was corroded on the inside, due to the black water intake flush valve being located above all the tank drain valves (very poor design). So every time I disconnected, the water dripped down and got on the...
Need a little clarification on the order of occurrence with a black tank flush. 1st trip we kept black and grey closed for 2 days, wrapped up when heading out and flushed black first, then grey. Didn't use the black tank flush with old water hose. Not sure if we should do this everytime, or...
Hi All,
After I empty and back flush the black tank, it still shows 1/3 on our 2019 DS3. The back flush water runs relatively clean after a bit. Bad sensor? Or I got something stuck down there creating a partial clog? Any suggestions?
We’re new owners of a 2205S. When we were getting ready to leave, I tried using the black tank flush, however, it seems the water did not spray at all. No water was coming out the sewer hose. I’m thinking the hose must be kinked somewhere. I checked under the bathroom sink and the back flow...
Hello,
I was flushing my Black tank when I noticed a small amount of black tank water coming from a cutout underneath the camper. Pic...
I hadn’t noticed it until I was flushing the 3rd time, it wasn’t dark water so I don’t think it was doing it before I emptied the tank and flushed. Do I...
So we have struggled with our dump tank valves since buying our Forrest River MBS. The valves have always been hard to open. We have really struggled with the blank tank valve. We had them replaced in March, our rig is only 4 years old. Went camping for the first time this week and the gray tank...
I have a 2005 Wildwood travel trailer. Our dog chewed the wires leading from the front of the camper (from the guage in the camper) and 4 wires hanging off the tanks. I'm trying to figure out how to put these back together. I know this is not a new topic and I have seen the wiring diagram...
