I know this is forest river forum but I have been a member here for a while and my parents have a trailer that is a Crossroads Grand Reserve they recently got. Does the slide out cable need lubed up as routine maintenance? The slide operates on a cable mechanism. The motor is above the slide on...
This is probably a silly question, but both my husband and I are technically challenged. We have a 2019 Sierra Fifth Wheel 378FB. We have campground cable which is working fine on our living room TV. We only have 1 TV in the living area and 1 TV in the outside kitchen. We haven't put a TV in...
We recently moved into our Arctic Wolf 5th wheel and are trying to figure out how we can get satellite internet inside. Is there anyway to utilize the existing cable or satellite hookups? We were told the internet would be a cat5 cable so can we somehow change that to run through the coax hookups?
I finally found the antenna booster and turned it off. The cable is hooked up and still can not get to come on. Have a 2018 Forester MBS 2400W with the original Furion TV’s. What’s the trick.
Hi I have a 2017 Wolf Pack 24pack12 Toy Hauler. On the outside Driver side there is 2 cable in connections. Does anyone know why? What do they control?:trink39:
I have a Dometic Refrigerator in my FR3. Inside there is a cable that can be relocated. Is this to regulate temperature for Frig or Freezer? If so, how does it work? See attachment
Okay...I’ve connected the cable before, but I’m getting a “low connection” message on my tv. The rv is still new to us and I’ve only done this once. It was super easy. I’m getting some channels, but not all. Antenna is off. TV is set to cable. I don’t know if the Smart Source box should be on or...
I was looking st getting the Alfa camp pro 2 kit to help with WiFi signal. One of the videos I was watching suggested possibly just running the cable through one of the seals in the slide out. I’m not experienced enough to say if this is a good idea or bad. We would only be doing it while we are...
Hello all,
Last weekend while attempting to drain the black tank on my 2014 Silverback I managed to break off the cable about 6" in from the handle. Luckily the valve was left partially open when the cable broke. I have been having problems opening the tank valve since we bought the coach. I...
Just got back from a 4 day shakedown trip to St Augustine Fl, and found a problem with the cable wiring in the RV.
Here's what is going on, I'm getting a fairly good picture on the TV in the main room while on campground cable. When the second TV in the bedroom is turned on the TV in the main...
Hello,
I am new to the forum and new to RVing. We just bought a new to us 2014 Sunseeker 3010ds and the cable does not work. We have tried to use cable in two separate parks and two separate coax cables.
Any ideas or suggestions on this issue?
Ahh help would be appreciated.
My camper has two external posts under the label for cable/satellite. Why are there two of them and does it make any difference which one the cable is attached?
1st picture is located near external RV cable. What is the 12V for? 2nd picture is located near 2nd TV but nothing plugged in 12v port. 2nd picture has the button you push to toggle antenna versus cable. Looking to wire for satellite. There is not a 2nd external plug. Right now we have...
I have shortened my TT brake safety cable so that when the safety chains are tight the TT brakes engage. I believe that this is better than having the TT tung going over or under the TV bumper if I loose ball connection. I also believe this will give some control until stopped.
Is this...
Has anyone seen a source for these? I'd like to get a handful of them for all my connections at home and RV. Products I've found are either way too expensive for this, or only come on new cables. These just slip onto the hex end of existing cables.
Hello all, I have a 2019 Cardinal 3350RLX, I have only tried to hook up cable tv to it once and had no luck getting signal or reception , also have tried to connect my satellite and do not receive a signal, I always run it thru the slide only cause I could never get a signal they the sat hookup...

New trailer and I thank many of you for your kind tips and sharing. I have learned a lot on these forums. So photos attached. I have inside the trailer next to the TV I installed a selection that allows for coaxial cable to be hooked up to Aux/Sat first then under it TV. There is a booster...
I have a 2019 36BHQ. In my bedroom there is only one cable tv hook up option. It is connected to my antenna. When I hook up to the park cable, I get no signal in the bedroom. In the living room I have 2 options to hook up to, one is labeled tv and the other is labeled sat/aux. The sat/aux...
I have a 2017 Forest River FR3 and can’t find the cable tv splitter. I tore apart the bedroom and tried to trace from the shore cable connection, but I just cannot find that darn splitter. This unit has 3 tv’s so I know there has to be a splitter somewhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have a 2016 FR Sierra 377 FLIK.
The cables that that connect the grey/black valves to the dump handles are getting hard to slide in and out. I assume cable corrosion at the ends or something.
Any ideas about how to loosen up other than taking everything apart?
I tried WD40 at the handle end.
Like many others our cable pulls for the black tank and two gray tanks are hard to open and close. Anyone have any idea of the correct cable lengths needed for replacement? FR customer service is non-existent and dealers won't talk to you unless your under warranty.
2014 FR CC 36CKTS
When plugged into cable I recieved no stations. I've heard of turning off antennae booster but I cant find it. 2014 sunseeker any ideas it is not on the tv power plug.
