Hi all,
So on the right side when facing slide area in side, there is a plastic cup looking thing on floor. It looks like it is probably a drain for side cause there is a hole in bottom and it goes into the floor. So will that said, when the slide is all the way out it looks like it is crushing...
I have a 2018 Forester 3271s with bunks in the full wall slide. Camping with water hookups and noticed water on floor in front of the bunks. Pulled the drawers out and there is a black pipe with an open end. Further isolated that water pours out when running water in galley sink☹️
I have...
2022 Wildcat 5th wheel. Newbie. Full disclosure I am in process of selling house to go full time. RV is in storage and we’ve only taken it out 1 time. That time we just used filtered city water.
Is there a drain for the fresh water tank? I haven’t put water in it yet but would like to fill...
Hello just started to de-winterize my 2022 Georgetown GT5. Found the red and blue low point drains. Is one of these used to drain the fresh water tank or do I need to keep looking? The blue drain only takes water out if the pump is on. I think the red drain does it without the pump. Sorry...
Anyone have any experience with one?

Water getting into underbelly... What can I expect? Will it rot? Will it get moldy? I don't have an insulated underbelly, so it's just linoleum, OSB floor, ~2" fiberglass insulation, then coroplast sheeting.
I was showering last night and when I stepped out, the rug was wet. I initially thought...
I would like to install a center-of-the-tank drain plug for my rPod 30 gallon fresh water tank. The factory installed plug is deep in the corner of the tank which leaves a considerable volume of water still in the tank after draining.
I know others have installed plugs. I am looking for...
We bought a 2020 Columbus 366RL 1492 fiver recently and have discovered a white PEX line with a shutoff valve towards the back underside of the rig. It is not marked with a label (like the low points and fresh water drains are) and I would rather not remove the underbelly panel just to figure...
I have a 2020 Surveyor Legend. When my grey tank status light indicates 2/3 full, my kitchen sink will not drain. No other drain problems in the trailer. Any ideas on why I have this drain problem? Solution?
Got the 5er out of storage and dewinterized. All seemed well, but I noticed the pipe that goes from the galley grey tank to the galley dump valve was dripping. Had a look and the pipe has a crack about three ft long. All outside the underbelly, so easy to replace. When I dumped as part of...
What type of replacement valve will fit on a 2018 Rockwood Ultra Lite 2806WS, VIN 4X4TRLB23JZ150999? The little plastic lever piece broke off.
The attached jpg looks like it on outside, but have not removed yet.
We just purchased a 2020 XLR 3310 and found our black tank filling up quickly in 2 days. I found out the kitchen sink drains into the black tank? We started dumping dish water into the bathroom sink and now I don’t have to empty black tank until a week. I called Forest River and they were to get...
Static and passive parasitic draw
Just for fun I decided to chase down the static parasitic electric draw on my wolf pup, as well as the “passive” electric draw when propane was operating “everything”. At the battery I measured .43Amps which dropped to .2 amps. I tracked the higher number down...
I plan to camp this weekend Friday- Sunday. Looking like Late Saturday night it will be in the mid teens and windy. I’m going to keep the inside warm and anti-freeze in the grey and black tanks. I planned to have tank heaters but they are not coming in on time.
If I drain the fresh water...
Hello, Having never owned a camper of any sort we recently just dove in a bought a geopro19fd. It is advertised as a boondocking trailer. Sadly our experience as a genuine boindicking trailer has been poor. The batteries don't charge as we are driving but actually seem to drawn down. It's...
Does anyone know what is draining my chassis battery (not the house batteries) in about three weeks? Surely it isn't the radio, is it? The propane detector appears to be on the house batteries (at least, the LED indicator is only lit when the house batteries are connected).
Thanks!
I just converted from 2x deep cycle 12v to 2 Napa 6 volts. I wired up correctly and everything seems to be working fine. We did a full hook up trip, came home unloaded and packed rv away in storage with battery switch off
Two weeks later checked rv and batteries were at 1% per my go solar...
I successfully winterized my trailer yesterday but there was one issue with low point drain. I over tightened with a plier and the cap got stuck since the part in red circle would twist along with the cap when i tried to unscrew it(the photo is for reference not from my trailer). So i have to...
Hello!
I’m new to this forum, but I’m hoping to get some insight on a very aggravating issue I’m experiencing.
Last year I upgraded and traded my 2018 Heartland RD210 for a 2016 Forest River Salem Hemisphere 312QBUD.
With the previous camper, I never had any issues with solid waste...
I purchased a Cardinal 30TS a few weeks ago from a dealership. During the final look over we did not go over flushing the tanks, but I was not too worried about that as I have done it on family TT growing up.
Only problem is I now realize this trailer does not have a slide gate at the end of...
Hi all,
I am new to this forum and a first time RV owner. I just bought a Class C Forest River Sunseeker 2860DS. I am doing all my research and am very excited for warmer weather to go camping but I have a huge problem that I cannot figure out for the life of me :crying: My chassis battery...
My rig is a 2021 Palomino Solaire 217BH.
The three low point drain tubes, one for the fresh water holding tank and one each for hot and cold, are ridiculously long from the factory. Literally they rub on speed bumps and if I am moving the camper in a grassy area, they drag in the grass and...
I was camping this past weekend in Florida and the night temps went to 30 degrees. I always turn off the generator at night because of the noise and vibrations. I never had and issue with battery drain in the morning at higher temps but then the furnance was running a little more often than...
