Hello everyone, does anybody know how thick the plywood is that they use on the slide floor’s? I have a 26 RET Impression 5th wheel and I’m going to replace the table and chairs with booth seats and table. I don’t want to use to long of screws to attach them.
Thank you

I'm wondering if anyone does this. We put down a 5x12 piece of indoor/outdoor carpet with a thin foam pad under it. The carpet is not nailed/glued down. The plan was to roll it up before closing the trailer up after each trip. But the carpet is kinda stiff and awkward to work with. So I was...
I know Rockwood constructed floors with Styrofoam sandwiched between two thin layers of luan and the floor becomes soft in spots due to this construction. I have several spots in high traffic areas in the floor of my 2016 Windjammer. I curse Forest River every time I walk on these spots. Has...
Took our new rig out this weekend for a shake out run. It rained on us. No leaks! Got home though and put the slide back iut for cleaning and noticed a little bit of water on the floor where the slide had been when it was in.
Is this a bad thing? It kinda seems to me like it'd be normal to...
Ok...need some help! We have a 2014 FR Wildwood DBUD travel trailer. Last camping season, our bathroom had some water in the floor that seemed to come from our toilet. It’s not a lot of water, just enough to wet the floor. Not flooding or anything like that. The weird thing is, that we mostly...
2009 26btss. The slide out floor appears to be sloped inward. I bought a bookshelf and put it through slide out with the back of the bookshelf to the outside wall. It is sitting on the floor with the bottom of the shelf touching the wall but the top of the shelf is 2" from the wall. Any idea...
I have a 2015 Crusader 351REQ. When getting ready for a trip today I noticed a corner of the bathroom slide out floor soft. When I peeled away the covering it is obvious water damage. No evidence of water from the inside. The damage is in the outside corner where the roller rests when the...
I was looking at a 2014 Rockwood Windjammer 3008. The dealership has a good price on it. It is in very good condition. The only problem is 2 soft spongy spots in the floor. One is in the middle of the camper by between the kitchen and the living room. The other is in the bathroom. I cannot...
I am installing a set of Lippert solid steps in my 2015 8289 5th wheel, but uncertain if I have a laminate floor or wood floor, how do I tell the difference? Help please, my wife is getting impatient!
I have a ‘16 2430s-cd that I’ve owned for 2 years now. When we first bought it, I noticed a mild raised bump/flaw in the floor, under the vinyl floor covering, but lately it’s become much taller & very pronounced. It almost appears to be a bolt head?? I though about to taking a hammer & block of...
Had a faucet water leak in the bathroom sink that went unnoticed for about a week. When I found it there was water on the floor and sides of the sink cabinet. I stopped the leak and dried out the entire area. Fixed the leak without much trouble. Almost a year later I noticed the floor is a bit...
The lino flooring in our Rockwood really started to crack on us last winter. I'm looking for ideas for resilient lightweight replacement options if possible. If needed I'm willing to put lino of some sort back in.
Thanks,
I see lots of videos on YouTube where people are using Zep flootwax Tony restore and shine faded rv fibreglass. Anyone have experience with this and does it work?
Unsealed wheel wells on 2017 Stealh toy hauler have caused pine floor joists and strand board underlayment to fail on passenger side. I have 24 plus hours in repairing floor in said areas. During reconstruction I found only a 5” section of the plastic wells had been sealed with silicon. No...
We have a 2020 Hathaway 34IK which we are enjoying. Recently we moved the sofabed out to clean behind and noticed that the flooring under the bed was being torn by the sofa mechanism as it was being extended into a bed. Both sides have large chunks of flooring ripped completely out of it...
Hi all!
My wife and I have been traveling around the US for about a year and a half in our 2016 Sabre Lite fifth wheel.
We have been work camping in SoCal since November. For maybe a month or so, I have noticed the heavily trafficked areas (ie right in front of stove and counter area) to have...
I recently saw a thread about their gray flooring was turning pink
I thought it was on the Forester Forum but I can't find any where, anyone see the "Pink" post

Hello everyone,
I am looking for advice on the size of floor jack to purchase in order to change a flat tire on my 2000 Forrest River Salem 27RKS fifth wheel. Also, can any of you recommend a specific brand? Thank you.
Our floor on our TT is very squeaky and also bounces and sags when we walk on it. Our island even moves when we walk. Where can I find answers for a fix
I need to do some flooring repair on our V-Lite. I need to cut the vinyl flooring, repair the flooring below, and then re-glue the vinyl back down. I am going to use the liquid wood to repair the water damaged soft spots. How warm does it need to be for me to start this project? I can run...
I'm going to help a buddy fix a ceramic floor in his motor home. I've done tile in homes, but never in a MH. Anyone here done this? Wondering if we need cement board, and if use regular quick set mortar or if I need to use something more flexible? Thanks for any insight.

I am new to this forum and just recently purchase the GreyWolf 19RR toy hauler, I live in MN and really don't like to put the camper in the storage for the Winter...It is fully winterized and ready to be stored away!!! But I am just thinking about drilling some holes to install the Catch...
I am new to forums. I have a 2018 39fk Riverstone. My front right kitchen slide is moving in very slowly. I noticed roller on outside is digging into bottom of the floor. The black covering is torn and wood is pulling of off the floor. Looks like might be chip board. Anyone have a fix for this?
