I'm going to preface this question with "I know the manufacturer says no, and Lippert will void the warranty".....
And....I don't need input on the legalities of it....I can google and read the law....
Not trying to be a smart ass, but want to keep it on topic.
Do you think the frame is...
Freedom Express 246RKS - cracked frame repair (long with photos)
Ok, I decided to give this project it's own thread. Parts of this have come up in other discussions, but based on the number of follow up questions it appears there is some interest in the topic in general. This will probably a...
Looking to find the Wall thickness and construction differences between the Eagle HT, Eagle, North Point, and Pinnacle. Purely out of curiosity. I can't seem to find specs on the wall construction and thickness anywhere on any of Jayco's brands.
Anybody know or know where to find this info?
I am starting to think about my next vehicle purchase.
Currently I own a compact car and my TV (Ridgeline). As both are quite high-mileage, I am considering selling both of them and purchasing a single newer "compromise" vehicle (high gas mileage + sufficient towing ability). Much as I'd like...
Hello,
Have added weatherstripping and sealed where appropriate. Still having hard time preventing light from coming in at the peaks on either side of the aframe. Anyone have any suggestions for this?

Does anyone know if the frame is 3", 4", or ??? I currently have my trailer in winter storage, and am thinking of ordering a WDH hitch from eTrailer.com. I know most brackets are adjustable, but it would be good to know. Merry Christmas by the way!!
One of our 3 slideouts stopped working today. When the DH presses the slide out button I can hear and feel the motor spin, but nothing happening in the gearbox mounted directly to the end of the motor. I suspect a shear pin or drift pin has been broken as there was no bad operation in the first...
Attached is a picture of what has happened to our front axle on BOTH sides. It has cracked away from the frame, but identically on both sides. The trailer is 3 years old, we haven't gone off road, just long trips to Yellowstone and Oregon. What would be possible causes? And would it be under...
I left PA for FL early in the morning. When I stopped for gas, the trailer seemed to be leaning on the passenger side. When I looked under the camper, I saw the wheels were rubbing thru the bottom of the camper. Got to a dealer. The chaise frame is sagging down about 3 to 4 inches from...
I first noticed my fiberglass siding cracking near the front bottom near the bedroom slide out. Took it in for other repair and want them to check that crack while it was there. They measured the frame flex and apparently it's out of spec?
The dealer I had check it out suggested I try and see...
I have a 2016 Chevy Silverado regular cab, short bed 4X4 pickup. I found out that I can flat tow the pickup by putting the transfer case in neutral.
I just had a Boss snowplow mounted on the truck so there is a substantial subframe for the plow mounted to the truck frame.
Is it possible to...

Sorry to start another actuator thread. But I felt a DIY solution might be worthy.
In my very 1st post on this isssue (April of 2016) I posted "Wondering if the existing drive mechanism could be connected to a cordless drill?"
Yes it can and finally I did it. And just using spare plumbing...
I had a problem with manually manuvering the camper (A214HW) into my carport (very tight) The single wheel that came with it would not turn, tried a double wheel, no better. Thought about a trailer dolly, but no place to store it and one that will hold the weight was $150 on etrailer. Soooo...
It seems as I search for a camper all of the travel trailers with aluminum on outside are wood frame. All the composite/fiberglass outside material campers are aluminum framed. Is this pretty much the standard or are there aluminum bodies with aluminum frames as well?
Thanks!
Bought our new 5th wheel in March 2018. Serious slide issues landed our trailer back at factory where they discovered “negative camber” of the frame, requiring a repair by LIppert. We have been told that our trailer is now 13’6” in height (3 inches taller than brochure) and weighs about 350lbs...
