The screen on my door keeps falling apart and it is mainly due to the plastic corner clips. One is broken, the other just doesn’t stay together. Does anybody know where to find a replacement or what the part is? Any other ideas how to keep it together, like maybe just use an L-bracket?
I have a 2010 Forest River Rockwood A-Frame Hardside A112 I purchased used a year ago. I absolutely love it. Easy to pull and till now, easy to set up. I am starting to have issues with raising it. It took 4 people last time. When we went to lower it, it took everything to get out of the way...
So it looks like the stabilizing jacks on my trailer were replaced, and to add the new ones, they drilled some new holes, leaving excess empty holes in the bottom flange of the I-beam. I'm assuming extra holes aren't good, but are they a concern? There's 2-3 extra empty holes on each corner...
I am in my fifth season with our 21' MicroLite. Just noticed there is something going on with how the shell of the camper is attached to the I-beams. Looking at YouTube construction videos my trailer appears to be built like most - two I-beams down the middle with triangle shaped wings welded...
We ordered a 2022 Sunseeker TS2380ATF late last week. :D The guesstimated delivery date we were provided is December. If we had ordered the Full Body Paint option that would add another two to three weeks...or more.
Anyone ordering a Sunseeker / Forester should plan on at least six months...
Hi All,
My sidekick 500 BBQ grill that came with my T12RB finally gave out. Not sure exactly if it's the BBQ or the propane hose, but it's been finicky the last couple years after using it every camping trip for every meal It's been in use for 6 years now. My dealer quoted me $200 to replace...
We are preparing to mount some pictures on the walls of our 2016 Cardinal 3825fl. My wife was planning to pick up some adhesive strips at WalMart tomorrow, the kind of strips that peel off without damaging the wall. But she read that they do not work on wallpaper. She told me she didn't want me...
First trip in the books with the Rockwood A122S. Had a great time and learned a lot. Ran the heater in 3o degree temps and ran like a champ as it should. Need to remember next time when I pack up and turn off the water pump and heater and open the faucets to drain the lines. Took care of that...
Check for rust under the chassis on the frame. Found a couple doozies, scraped an area that looked like they painted over rust, sure enough they did! This was the first cross beam under the box.
Also between the between the bumper and the last cross member NO paint at all!!
Ferocious windstorm in ND today with gusts up to 50mph.
When I know high winds are coming, I generally don't use the stabilizers. My reasoning is that when the chassis is free to sway from side to side, like a willow tree, the chances are less of the wind blowing the inside wall latches off...
Hello - New to this Travel Trailer life...I just purchased a 2021 Alpha Wolf DBH-L and am looking to buy an Andersen Weight Distribution system for it. To order the correct brackets I need to know the height of the frame where the weight distribution brackets would be installed...
Hi friends! I am super stoked about the information on this group--I've been combing through posts already, but I never hear anyone talk about RUST **UNDER** their bus. Is there too much? From what I could see when I crawled under, no significant rust damage to the frame or chassis, seems to be...
I just bought a 2015 Grey Wolf Limited 29VT. I bought it from a dealer so I never met the previous owner. The one thing that was broken was the couch. It was sunken in on one side. It looked like the supports in the seat frame were broken at the welds.
Today I removed the foam and cover by...
Hey all, i have a toyhauler that i purchased brand new in 2011. this may tell you how often i take this thing out camping.. After 10 years and not to many trips on the trailer i had my original tires finally replaced because weather damage. with the new tires on i also went through and inspected...
I recently puchased a 2021 RWML 2109s and found a "MP waterproof 100 30vdc ignition protected" breaker wired between the positive battery terminal and the battery disconnect switch. Does anyone know what this is and how/why it's there? What it's funtion is in the system? TIA
Hi, the outside (parking) lights won’t turn off when the car is off and the electrical is disconnected. The battery is hooked up though.
Is there a switch?
Thanks!
Just had my 2018 Rockwood ROO 183 inspected and the frame is cracked in front and behind the wheels both sides. Going to have to plate and weld both sides. It's where the supports are welded. Three years old. Any thoughts?
Does anyone have suggestions on how to repair this? The side has pulled away as well as the top piece. (Why did this even happen???). I can’t figure out how to clamp it besides using my feet while I watch Netflix on my phone waiting for my legs to cramp up. Thanks for any help. And sorry for the...
Does anyone have measurements handy for the dimensions of the doors. I'm looking to install some magnetic mesh door screens and can't find info on the size of the doors opening for either the front or rear door (I assume they are the same dimensions).
My rig is stored up at a facility quite a...
I keep reading that trailers are not built very well but what I discovered today completely shocked me. I'm a big guy and it never crossed my mind that I would have an issue with the bed in the trailer. I laid down on my bed for the first time and I heard a crack. I quickly jumped up off of...
We own a 2017 FR3. The drivers side window frame make a squeaking noise. The screws are tight in the frame. It is temperature sensitive. The warmer it is the more noise it makes. Has anyone experienced anything like this? The windows are manufactured by Hehr and are sliders.
Has anyone experienced a squeaking noise, seemingly coming from the black aluminum frame on the drivers side window. It is temperature sensitive, the warmer temperature the more noise it makes. All the screw are tight in the frame. Has anyone disassembled a window unit? Looking for a little advice.
