I have a 2017 3888FL in which the wiring to operate the slide has burnt and melted some wires. Still waiting for almost a year for the dealer to repair since it is on a permanent site. This is on a cable system, is there a way to retract the slideout?

Our new Rockwood Freedom 2716F has an electric motor that raises the roof. I’m curious what to do if that fails. Is there a manual override? Any details on how that works? Thanks!
