Hi FRF,
I'm new to the macerator pump game and it would be nice to dump my RV at home. My only issue is it would probably be in the area of 200 feet from my RV in the street to my nearest clean out over flat ground.
any tips?
Kurt
Hi there,
I recently purchased a new forest river camper. It has a single unit AC/heat pump. When I try to run my furnace only in furnace mode. The AC unit also turns on and blows air. I have hot air coming from my furnace vents in the floor. Colder air blowing down from the top vents. I know...
I have an isata 3 fw, been pretty problem free other than the dripping from the auto level system which was there from day 1. A strange problem just occurred. The water pump started cycling , just barely, even though i checked all the connections, made sure all valves closed tight. It worked...
I have a 2015 26RL tt. Just changed out my water pump. Filled fresh water tank up, very little water coming out in sinks, went outside and water is coming out of the city water hookup is.
Replaced pump with same pump, hooked up in the same way.
Thoughts
Anyone know if or where a check valve...
I'm buying a macerator pump and would rather not carry yet another dedicated hose but that may be unavoidable. An expandable hose would be compact. I'd need more than 25' so the next size increment would be 50', adding to resistance to flow.
It seems to me that the ID when expanded would still...
Now that my truck is finally out of warranty I am looking at seeing what I can do to help keep my 2015 happy for many more years.
I see lots of discussions online about adding a lift pump to help the CP4 and injectors. I have to deal with the DEF /DPF system and I am not quite sure I am...
Hey all, just gathering some thoughts and stacking logic together. With full blown rookie freightliner status noted, when I started the Detroit yesterday I had smelled a new odor but upon checks noticed nothing out of place with fluids, belts, hoses all the visuals. Once we got moving the odor...
Merry Christmas all!
My firefly is showing just the rear AC unit available as a heat pump, however everything I read eludes to both AC units being heat pumps.
Should the front ac unit function as a heat pump as well?
Thanks in advance!
Sorry if this is listed somewhere else, but I could not find using search. Can someone tell me where the water pump is on this model and how to access it.
Thanks

Was planning to move our Cherokee 264L to the deer lease this afternoon, but the water pump doesn’t appear to be pumping.
The tank is full, but this is my first camper and I have no idea what to do. FR documentation is sorely lacking with substantive content, so I thought I’d ask here after...
Both heat pumps on our 2020 XL 40E are locked out at just below 50 degrees F.
They seem to lockout at the same temperature. Are they both controlled by one thermostat or is there a thermostat on each of the units. Now for the main question…Can I adjust this? I know the efficiency goes down...
In our 2016 CC, we have the Suburban on demand water heater. I heard somewhere that it works better with more pressure/flow thru it. So, I have put water in the fresh water tank then turn the pump on to assist the city water. 3-4 weeks ago, I filled the water tank, left the pump on, was told...
Hello everyone.
I am relatively new to the RV world and I am having issues with my city water hookup. I have a 2021 Salem Hemisphere 310bhi (410bhi edited per OP) and after the last time moving it, we get no water inside the camper when hooked up to the city water connection. I can fill the...
I have owned a 2006 Sunseeker Motorhome for the past year. It is equipped with an Onan generator. When parked, we will hear a clicking sound like when you are priming the carb to start the generator. It doesn’t happen all the time, but one time it went long enough to run the battery down...
How do I turn off the heatpump option on my thermostat. If I turn on the generator while the heator is on it switches over to heatpump.
It's a 2017 Forest River Forester.
Planned to replace my pump when winterizing. Also had a small leak around the filter to repair. I have the pump installed and filter leaks fixed not it seems that I have drips at many braided flex pipe junctions. I guess I moved too many things or maybe these small leaks have been there. More...
When I run any faucet in my CC Champagne 38EKS, I can hear the pump constantly cycle on and off. Pump must cycle 25-30 a minute when a faucet is on and you can visually see a difference in water pressure out of the faucet.
When the demand is high, like my two faucets in the bathroom, the pump...
In winterizing our 2021 Clipper FQS we have found that there seems to be no access to water pump. We have not used the pump and have at least narrowed down its possible location. Can anyone confirm where it is located and how we access it?
Opinions, please...just got ready to winterize F.R. Flagstaff 832ikbs and proceeded as I have for 6 years. Turned all the by-pass valves, drained water heater, etc. This time, when I hooked up my outside hose between the Anti-freeze intake and the bucket of anti-freeze and turned pump on, when...
Where is water pump on 2018 Cardinal Limited. Have taken off every access panel I can find but no luck. Trying to winterize but have no siphon hose at outside panel. Thanks for any info!!!
We have a 2021 FR 5th Wheel with a Nautilus plumbing control panel. I've followed the instructions on setting all the valves, blowing out the lines, draining the hot water tank etc. but I can't get the pump to pull antifreeze from the container even holding the container above the intake level...
2022 Epro FD19: I practiced winterizing using compressed air a couple weeks ago. Was going to slip away this weekend, but now it seems the pump will not pull water from the fresh water tank.
Valves in correct position, filled the fresh tank, turn on the pump and it just runs, no water going...
