    Freightliner snow driving experience?

Anyone have and feedback on how the Freightliner chassis handles on snowy roads? We primarily snow camp at our local ski resort and the Isata 5 is just too small for our family. Curious if anyone has any experience with this? Thanks

    Snow removal

Is it common to clean off snow off of your TT's roof? I read on a few sites that the weight of the snow can cause leaks and damage. I dropped my TT off at storage so I don't have access to it right away. I'm concerned about the snow we are getting today in Northern NJ. I was going to buy a...

Got a strange question. We live in our 5th wheel full time. Next week we will be leaving it for a few days to house and dog sit for our daughter. We are expecting possibly 7 to 10 inches of snow. Is it OK to put our slides in and still leave the furnace on. Don't want the snow piling up on the...

Advice for first time Snow Birds

We just purchased our first motorhome last year, have worked out most of the issues a new motorhome can surprise you with, and have taken a few trips in it to learn how to live on the road for short amounts of time. We now plan on going to Florida for a few months starting in January. We look...

    Hey from snowy Michigan!

Hi all! My wife and I are long-time campers and have made the traditional journey from tenting in a monsoon into two pop-ups. We then went all out with an Aerolite Cub hybrid and then a Jaycoy Jayfeather. All of them served their purpose at the stage of life we were at. We are now the proud...

Man it got cold 6” of snow

Got 6” of snow ⛄️ in Oklahoma Sunday. RV was at campgrounds and I needed to winterize and put into storage. Had to dig out the ladder and climb up on top with a broom and push off the snow ❄️ on the slide out toppers prior to pulling in the slides. Love my Muck Boots!

Poll - Snowbirds - flying south this year?

Wondering how many folks will be doing the snowbird thing, vs. staying put, this winter. If you like, you can respond as if you'd be boondocking long-term, not in an RV Park, this year. Don't need long responses on the 'why' or 'why not'... just looking to see how many will be traveling away...
