I made the mistake (I think??) of leaving my slides out yesterday and it snowed about 8 inches. Is this going to hurt my toppers buy streaching them or cracking them in the 0 degree weather they enduring?
I am afraid to pull in the slides as there may be some ice in the tracks.
Please...
Greetings everyone! My name is Mike. At the St. Louis RV show this year we ordered our 3rd TT, a Grey Wolf 26BH. It was priced at what we considered a great price and just hope that it works out OK for us. It sure seemed like a lot of trailer for the money so we'll see!
This will be our...
We have 2 dogs, a pug and a shih-Tzu. The shih-Tzu loves snow, puts her nose to the ground and plows through it full speed. The pug doesn't even want to go out unless forced, does his business in record time, and runs back in. I tell my wife the pug has the most sense.
Been at it since 5AM. Every half hour go out and try to clear snow off the ramps and sidewalk. Can only walk with a cane, and easier to push 1/2" of snow one handed with the shovel rather than wait until it's 2-3 inches. Wife just left for grocery shopping, and tried to make me promise not to...
We *finally* got the new tv. 2013 f150 Ecoboost 4x4. Been waiting to get this new gal for a few years now, and the end of the year deals were just too good to pass up. Mamma is very happy...:)
We are going to Arizona around Feb. 1 and are wondering about cell phone coverage for calls back to Calgary. Don't want to pay for roaming and Bell wants too much. Any advice will be appreciated.
Thanks
Ray
It has been cold enough for long enough and we are planning on making a break for warmer weather on Friday.
It has been so cold that salt and deicers haven't worked. That means we will be driving on packed snow and ice for the first few hours. Other than taking it easy, leaving more space...
We are at our campsite in Nokomis Florida. Only issue I can't seem to figure out is the television. Low channels are VERY snowy and high channels are good. WHY? Bedroom and living room are same way. In the evenings they clear up for a few minutes and go back to same thing. Would a TV filter...
Get out and get your bread, milk and eggs's a winter storm is brewing! They are talking temps that have not been seen around here for 2-3 decades and 12+ inches of snow (depending on what channel you watch).
I was able to get the truck under cover for the first time...its just fits! I am...
Hi
We are up here in Ottawa Canada and have had a fair amount of snow and then a dump of freezing rain. I am worried about the load on the roof of our motorhome 3011 DS Forester. When should we start trying to take the snow off of the roof and won't the air conditioner and covers over the...
Hello to all,
Just joining this forum as we are thinking of buying an 8282WS Rockwood 5r. I will be towing with a F150 Ecoboost SCREW with a short box, so liking the way the sidewinder hitch looks.
Any suggestions on my tow or 5r that i'm looking at?
We purchased and installed a Tailgater with the 211k receiver. It works fine however the picture from the coax is snowy. I'm able to hook up a HDMI cable to the front TV and get a great picture. Can anybody suggest how to improve the coax reception or how to get a HDMI to the middle TV without...
Tune in the Detroit Lions at the Philadelphia Eagles NFL game at Philly that's being played now on Fox.
The snow is really coming down.
Also snowing heavily at the Kansas City Chiefs playing the Washington Redskins at FexEx Field on CBS.
Yesterday the weather started with sleet which changed to ice and now today we have snow. It's a darn good thing I have my plow attachment for clearing the driveway and sidewalk.
We are taking a ski trip after Christmas. We are considering taking our new Vengeance 25V. I've been told that Canaan Valley is easier to get to with a trailer and offers shuttle service to a couple of slopes. We have extensive tow including mountains (Wy and the Sierra Nevadas) but none in...
Greetings!
My husband and I have been retired for 7 years and have owned a few pull behinds. In September we purchased our first 5th wheel and plan on traveling as long as our health, funds and 5th wheel holds up.
Our home is in Minnesota and currently we are visiting California. I joined this...
I am retired and my DW retires in June/14. At that time we plan on taking longer trips (seeing the east coast is definitely on our bucket list) including some extended winter trips to Az and Tx. A lifetime of -35 winters is quite enough, thank-you very much. We currently have a Cougar XLite...
Looks like... we will be headed south a little earlier this year. Probably soon after the Thansgiving weekend is over .And.. we are thinking about stopping at the Pigeon Forge Tn, area for a few days.. where are looking for suggested places to stay and visit..and.. the ones to stay away from...
Just noticed two boon docking rigs at Snow Bird Mesa (aka Poverty Flats) located 5 miles south of Overton, Nevada. At it's busiest there will be between 50-60 rigs out there during the winter months. Even though some call it "Poverty Flats", there are usually quite a few very expensive rigs...
Hi guys. I'm wondering if you have any advice on storing aframes in the snow?I'm planning to get a good breathable cover and I will also drain all the water out. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.
Just curious if anyone else has run into this - and if there are any solutions (other than changing insurance companies).
We use a premier insurance company in NJ that we love and do not want to change from. However, there is a stipulation that coverage may or may not apply in certain...
