I have a brand new rear axle sway bar kit that fits late a model Sprinter 3500 chassis. This was ordered for a 2016 MBS 2400R before delivery, but now come factory installed so I no longer need it. Check Hellwig fitment data to be sure, but it should fit most. I will take what I paid for it...
I know that there are a number of WDHs with sway control out there that use friction L brackets on the trailer A Frame.
Fastway E2
Equalizer 4Point
Reese (though not included in this conversation for soon to be obvious reasons)
Curt
and a few others.
If I attached a small piece of brake...
After throughly delving into my Hellwig sway bar clunk/bang noise problem I have finally figured out what the problem is and how to fix it.
The Problem:
Its not a side to side movement of the bar that causes the noise, it has to do with the ends of the bar itself.
It turns out the OEM Mercedes...
How does this work on sway? I can see that the W/D is nicely adjustable, but, how does this keep sway down?
Currently, I have a Reese Straightline that was not set correctly at the stealer. I've worked at it off and on for three years and maybe have it right. It is a good hitch if you...
I am selling my Fastway E2 Hitch (94-00-1000) that is pretty much brand new. 1000lb tw, 10,000 GVW. 2" receiver. I purchased it for $499 as part of my RV sale and am going to a BlueOx hitch my father bought me. I still have the box, all instructions, and parts.
I am asking $350 including...
Had a great trip this past weekend but 20 minutes from home I realized my sway bar was in my shed at home. It can be a pain to put on so I didn't use it two weeks ago towing 10 minutes away. Leaving for a 2 hour drive I totally forgot about it.
I did notice a slight difference or maybe it was...
Hi guys, I'm new to the forum and new to the camping world. I just bought a 2012 Forest River gray wolf 19RR and will be picking it up Wednesday. Before I do that I was hoping the experts here could answer my questions. I've Googled the questions and get answers both ways so I'm stumped...
I have a Dual Cam Reese Sway Control and leveler setup for sale for $325 I live in Texas (Kyle) 78640. Contact me at partsman@johnnyandsons.com. Complete setup
Andersen No Sway 3350 2 5\16" ball fits up to 6" frame. Used a dozen or so times. I really like this hitch with my other trailer, my new trailer needs more truck for this hitch to work well. Asking $350 o.b.o. plus shipping.
We have a 2015 Rockwood UltraLight 2608WS and had it out for the first camping trip of the season this past weekend. We had so much sway that we were really worried about losing control. On the PA turnpike, we could only do about 40 MPH for fear of trucks blowing us right off the highway. We...
Hello all,
First post. Just purchased, over the weekend, a 2016 Grey Wolf 26DBH travel trailer. Now looking at WD hitches and would like to go with a Blue Ox Sway Pro.
Only problem is I can't currently inspect and measure the trailer but need to get the hitch ordered right away. Does anyone...

When I had my bumper pull this was a life saver for me.. no sway makes for a much more relaxing time on the road.
Sorry for the long post but I need answers. I recently purchased/ordered a 2015 Ford F250, Crew cab, short bed, 4x4, 6.2L, 4.30 geared pick up to replace a 2006 Chevy Crew cab Duramax that I loved. However, due to electrical problems - two computers/fuel injector connectors/interior...
One of these came with my Roo 21SS along with the weight distribution system. The previous owner me that basically he put it on in just before entering a highway and took it off after exiting the highway. Is this correct or can I use it around town? I do know it must be removed to back up...
I have tried 3 hitches. Equalizer - Hensley and Andersen. Hensley worked but I did not get along with it.
Trailer - Flagstaff V Lite 30WILKS Towed by an 2013 F150 crew cab short bed.
The trailer sway is terrible.
Anyone else having this problem? Is there a fix?

New to FR forums but not new to RV's, been an RV owner for the last 40 years. Have owned Campers, TT, everythng except a MH. My question is about "sway". My current TV is a 09 Hemi RAM RCSB with a tow rating of 9200lbs and while power is of no concern to me, having a short wheel base (120inches)...
I will be pulling my 23ss Rockwood ROO with my F150 to Wyoming. I have the wdh but not the sway. How critical is it if I don't have the sway bar on it?
The Rockwood 2109s is about 4,000 Dry weight and about 500 hitch weight. I will be towing it with a 2015 Ford F150 ecoboost. Do I need a 1,000/10,000 E4 hitch? And does it compicate the backing up and parking the TT?
Thanks, Evergreen49
I have a Sunseeker MBS 2400R on order and suspect that a sway bar would be a good add-on. I am not even sure if there is a factory rear sway bar on these or not, but if not I would like to add one. Has anyone found a Helwig bar to fit the Mercedes Sprinter 3500 170" chassis? I have emailed...
Yea, this is another WDH / Sway thread  but since I don't think many on here have the same setup as me, it's a little different.
As some may have seen in my posts, I have a very 'unique' towing situation. I am towing a 24' (29' total length) XLR hyperlite toy hauler with a VW Touareg TDI...
To sway or not to sway!
We took our 2015 26 ft. Ultra lite V out for our first long trip last week. All was well except for the swaying on speeds over 50 MPH. I am using load sharing bars and chains and a friction anti-sway bar. I was told that I should turn off my Stabili-Trak and Traction...
On our second trip with our new 320BHDS and I've come to the conclusion that before we go on our 2 week long adventure out west this summer I have got to get the "swaying" problem of our TT under control.
TV is a 2003 dodge 3500 SRW crew cab, cummins so it's got plenty of power. Being a 1 ton...
Soooooo, I have a 2015 Puma 32DBKS which is 36Ft long and when I picked up the trailer and using 1 sway bar I noticed more sway than I anticipated, dealer told me I should add a second friction sway bar to my hitch with a trailer that long. I bought a Pro Series friction sway bar. I installed...
Well I finally go tired of resetting my hitch every time I pulled my trailer empty, full (two 900lb Harleys in the garage), wind, rain, water in tank and water out, etc.... Every combination require hitch adjustments to avoid major trailer sway. Even with the adjustments sway would begin...
