1969 HiLo

Welcome to the forum. Enjoyed your pictures, thanks for taking the time to post them. Interesting colors in 1969. Perhaps you could just use some furniture throws to cover up the dinette upholstery. Nice find.

Wow! A 1969. Ours is a 1994 and Im hoping to keep it for years to come. This gives me hope.

Maybe you could sandblast and paint that black frame for the trailer at the front! Is the last shot the new upholstery covering you got? ep, it looks better than that green stuff, that's for sure.

1966 Hi-Low

Hi,

I just bought a 1966 hi-low and was amazed how well most everything works. I was wondering if you have found anything that might not be apparent. I liked your pictures and was surprised to see how much my 1966 model looks like yours. I'm very excited about fixing up some minor stuff then hitting the road.

New to you HiLo

Welcome to the forum. Glad to know several of our members have similar units. Ask any questions and our forum members will help you.

we recently bought a hi lo almost identical... We also think its a '69 Traveler... However our colors are more earthy. We have been playing around with ours and it seems to also be in very good shape fo the year. We are also looking for more info on ours. User manual, parts, advice, etc...

Thanks JME

JME,

Over a year ago, I copied and downloaded a copy of the Owner's Manual for our 1969 Bon Voyage. Its in the Library and you can find it using "Search."

The Bon Voyage manual is pretty generic, so I'm sure most (or all) of it will apply to your Traveler.

how many

Well I have to wonder how many 1969 hilo's are still out there. That's three that I know of. Of course there are the different types of course also.

Anyone ever set up a survey as to how many of what years are still out there and running??

Later Tim

Oh, that would be interesting/fun to know how many are still being used!

I always like to see the nostalgia of things and how they change but stay the same. Just shows how some things are built to last. Hi-Lo is one of the best!
