2004 17T Bathroom Ceiling

I am planning to put a skylight above the shower/toilet. Does anyone know what the metal framing inside the roof looks like in that area? I tried to use my stud finder to see if there were any metal roof supports in there but the results were inconclusive. I am also wondering if they used aluminum tubing in the roof frames in 2004? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. On an '04, most likely you have an aluminum skeleton. Look at the brochure and there is a picture of the frame that will give you an idea of it.

Thanks for the reply. That's good to know about the aluminum framing. I plan to post some pics once I tear into the roof to install the skylight. Hopefully I don't hit anything too important in the process

You should be able to pull the interior paneling to get a better look.
