So I was going to get my childhood dream a CJ7 Renegade until I happend upon the add for yet another dream a HI-LO. My wife loves our pop up trailer but always wanted a complete bathroom so now we own a 1993 26BR that is in good shape I mean its 18yrs old but nice. So we are really excited to take it out. No starts the fun going through the trailer.:D:D:D:D

Congrats on the new coach, and welcome aboard.
I have a 2693RD that is in great shape, used but in great shape. I just bought it in August of last year.
You'll love the trailer and you'll love the members around here even more.
And don't be bashful, post some pics!

Welcome to the forum

Congrats on your preloved pre enjoyed HiLo . You will really appreciate you Br. on a freezing cold night or when it is raining for all that is worth.!!

Does anyone happen to know what the Reese WD hich model number was on early 90's Hi-LO models?

There is no specific hitch that matches specific trailers. You have to mate your vehicle to the trailer. There are many different combinations.

Are you indicating that there may be brackets on the trailer hitch from the previous owner. If you are you could take pictures or the trailer to different hitch dealers and they can figure out what you need to complete the hookup. Welcome to the forum.

The trailer has reese plates weled to frame head and schackle reese but there are no bars so I was trying to fo=igure the bars needed if new oneworked with the old.

Best thing to do is grind and replace them. They have probably changed the bars and the hook ups and the chances of finding an old set of bars that fit properly can be slime. Have a good shop do the work for you unless you are a qualified welder and grinder. Even then have somebody else do the work, it takes the guessing out of the problem. Reese is a brand name, how ever different manf. use different hook ups for there bars. One hint for you when you get your new load leveling bars or weight distribution bars here is an easy way to hook them up. Once you know how many loops of chain you need, hook them up BEFORE you lower the trailer, it makes it a lot easier than trying to bar them over after the trailer is lowered and you have to liiifft all that tongue weight. It will save you some skinned knuckles, sore backs and lots n lots of shady words.

Thanks for the advice. I am sure that I will have to do a new set up but you can always hope to find them. Today the fun starts:D

Couple photos of the new toy now with working brakes.
