Sofa Beds
Gaucho: or single Gaucho is a sofa that has the bottom pull out and the cushions lay flat against the bottom.
Double Gaucho: is designed just like the single Gaucho but has the back folded once so that when its unfolded and added to the bottom cushion it is twice as wide as the single Gaucho, it's designed for two to sleep on.
Jacknife: this sofa is hinged in the middle where the top and bottom cushion meet, its designed to hinge so that it lays flat to form a bed.
Sleeper: this sofa has a mattress and frame that folds up underneath the seat portion of the sofa. Most of these designs have little or no storage beneath them because the mattress and frame fold underneath it.
Fixed Beds
A fixed bed in an RV is a regular bed like most of us have in our house. These types of beds don't fold up. they come in various sizes that will be listed like the bed sizes for your house, "King", "Queen" and "Full" are the most common. Its important to know that the RV version of these sizes aren't the same as the ones for your house. Nor are are RV mattress sizes for a given type such as "Queen" necessarily the same size, this is important when buying sheets and other bedding for your RV.
