Bunk. Height

Does anyone know the height of the bunk in the down position..

Don't know the measurement off the top of my head but just measure the leg on the side of the bunk. That's how high to the bottom of the bunk.

Close, but not quite. The leg supports the bunk at an angle, not perpendicular to the bunk bottom, so the height is slightly reduced, by maybe 1/2 to 1". Regardless, the bunk is high enough that I can sit up on the mattress on the bottom bed and not hit my head. I think this is all that matters.
