Well...... I'm missing one of the bars from my 10,000lb. Equalizer Hitch. The hitch was in the back of my truck and I guess someone decided they needed it more than I did. On the off chance that anyone has an extra one laying around let me know (don't really see why anyone would have)

Check with local RV dealers.

Rv dealers often take in trades and end up with misc. parts. Our RV dealer had a bar for us when we needed one replaced. So much cheaper then having to buy the entire towing set up. This bar would be very heavy to ship.

Thanks for the "heads up" but that hitch looks nothing like mine

The one I have just has the main body and two 3/4" square bars, I think the sway control is intrinsic to the hitch.

You're correct about the sway control being "intrinsic" - it's simple friction between the bars and the L-Brackets.

I suspect your hitch is like mine, and those bars don't look like mine either. You might try contacting Equal-I-Zer to see if they would sell you just a bar (or perhaps a set of two?)

A machine shop MIGHT be able to make one for you. You could take your remaining ber to them and see if they could fabricate a matching one.

Hello Jack,

Yeah, I called CW and they said they could order me one for a buck and a half shipped.
I had gone by a couple of used RV dealers and actually found a bar but it was a 1" sq. and mine is 3/4". That guy said if he came across one he would sell it to me for a 20 dollar bill. If nothing turns up in a couple of months I'll just order one through CW.

Thanks
