If you have sold your HiLo.....

Lots of old threads to delete.

I found 21 pages of threads for trailers for sale. They go back to 2010. I think they should only be left on if less than one year old. If you have any threads that you started and want to delete them please do so. If your trailer is still on the sales block please post to your thread. My fingers will be worn out if I do them all myself. Thanks!

Need to delete my Hi-Lo Classic 31C add but have not been able to do so. Help please! Thanks. Chuck Lute

If you have listed your Hilo here for sale, have sold it, or taken it off the market please come back and add a post to your thread stating it is sold. You may also delete the thread you started. I see threads here that are maybe two years old and people are still inquiring about them.

I hate to quote myself but this way is easier.

To delete your post go to the edit button and you will see a delete option. That should do it.

Rich, as a moderator you may have the edit button but it expires on our posts after a time period. That is why folks do not delete their posts.

Okay, thanks! I thought there was a problem with that but wasn't sure.

So, should you want your thread deleted please send me or Campthewestcoast a private message or post your request in this thread. Please include the title and date of your thread so we don't delete the wrong one.

helpful item

It would also be very helpful if the date of the posting were included in ALL listings and replies. Thus telling the searcher how current the list or reply is?

Ok, I have searched endlessly for a link on the edit page of my post to delete it and have found nothing. You want them deleted and I am happy to do so but please give clear directions on the process. Thanks!!!

Dear Rich, I recently placed a post on the page entitled "Hi-Lo's wanted". Thankfully, I have gotten about 13 notes from other members. However, none of those notes offers of sale so, I still am wanting--in fact, at this point I am nearly drooling! So much so that my wife and I actually conceded to look over a 30 foot Trailmanor being offered by a very fine local (Port Angeles, WA) dealer. A few decades back we owned a Trailmanor as our first RV it was great except that for people like us who were doing too much one night stopping, the setup and take-down really got to us and so we gave it up and bought a used motorhome. We liked the convenience of the motor home which is now 30 years old and cost us a fortune in engine repairs and, always thought a Hi-Lo would be a better option for us. Now, at 80 years for me and 75 for my handicapped wife, we are giving up the motorhome and looking for the very elusive Hi-Lo (a very scarce commodity in the northwest--especially WA). Finaly the reason for my excessively motor mouth note: I have noticed (unless I am a total dummy) that only MEMBERS of this Hi-Lo site can get on the "Hi-Lo's wanted" page. It would seem a definite advantage if any peruser visiting the site could/would see the page labeled "Hi-Lo's wanted as well as the for sale site. Is there any simple way you could make it possible for every visitor to see that "wanted" page. It might greatly increase our chances to buy. It might, with the right prompts, increase the number of members. Thanks for your consideration--I just want to be able to "raise the roof" on a Hi-Lo!!

Raymond,
I know of no restrictions for getting on the Hi-Lo's Wanted page. If you are able to post to the rest of the Forum you should be able to access that page.

Agree with Tim (69hilo2). Move "sold" campers to a "sold" folder or forum.

I have forwarded the suggestion to the forum administrator.

If you have sold your Hi-Lo please add a sold post to your thread. Or, you may ask a moderator to delete your thread completely. We have been keeping past threads to allow others to see what owners were selling and what they were asking price wise. Some of those are very old and could be deleted.
