I want change brackets and add leg supports to my loft bed in my 21lt. Those swing brackets are to hard for one person to raise the bed back up ang ideas on how to change it?

I also struggled with it untill I looked at the DVD that came with my 2209, if you do it the way they demenstrate it is rather easy. Check the library the DVD is posted on UTube.
Don't know of anyone that has modified the bunk bed supports.

Yep, there's a "trick".

As I recall, I pull sharply out and down, which points the back of the bunk "up". Then, it's a simple matter to push up along the plane of the bed to get the back in place. At that point, you can lift the front into the latches where it locks automatically.

Hey, I'm 70 years old - if I can do it, anyone can! :)

Once you practice the recommended way to lower and raise the bunk you will want to forget making the modification. It is quite easy, especially after a little practice. I don't really see any way you could improve on the way it is now.

swinngin the bed

make sure you have the front cables on ( they might have been removed if you have a used hi-lo), makes a big difference in the swing motion.
