Pop, think I'm going to the welding shop and have them fabricate a new brace for the tongue and that should solve the location problem. I also had a little problem with the assist handle next to the door which was loose. When the mounted it at the factory, the two screws on the side furthest from the door only go into the fiberglass skin as there was nothing in between the skin and the inside layer. Had to go all the way through the wall and put a small piece of wood on the inside for something to screw into. Also went on the roof and put Koolseal along the cap/roof juncture, someone had tried to put silicone, wish they would outlaw that stuff, on top of the existing caulk. The existing caulk was starting to lift from the roof, I hope the Koolseal will do for now. Sure like everyone's input and advise, this is going to be a great summer of fixits and mods lol. Hey Bubbie. Ok on the pamphlet, I was planning on doing the same thing with the converter and already have a 32 inch Visio, so I might just use the player for music. I have the Sequoia and it requires a WD because of the tongue weight. Sure pulls nice, no swaying or bouncing. Did you run the RG6 all the way from the antennae and how to you know how much difference it makes. I hooked up the 32 inch directly to the amplified output and it seemed to do pretty good for 35miles out. Does the pamphlet have any instructions on operation or just general info. Thanks for the input.

How does this antenna compare to the old antenna in reception?

Hey PopRichie, sadly I found the possible reason for the misalignment of the bedroom seal. It looks like something dropped down between the walls at the back left corner and when the tried to raise it, it bound up causing the back corner to be pulled down. Has anyone tried to tweek these back straight? I was going to lower it and see how much off it is before it hits the resting pads and then raise it back up and put a small block of wood under the back corner and let it rest on that for awhile. Any thoughts?

You can try that but I think it will take a lot more than that to bend or straighten the framing in the top half.
I forget the force of the hydraulic cylinder but it puts several thousand pounds of force on the lifting cables much more than the weight of the top.

I was thinking, if I could leave it like that while traveling, maybe the bouncing would help.

thanks for updating me on this. I see that a non omnidirectional can be bought that goes on existing telescoping antenna, Im looking into that, but might try to make the one you have mount my my existing antenna mast that goes up and down
