We recently purchase a 2003, model 2023 in excellent condition and want to travel with it this Spring. It has a rear receiver hitch that looks substantial. Our question is - will it support a 2 electric bike carrier plus the weight of 2 bikes? The carrier weighs app. 50-60lbs and each ebike 30-40lbs. Total weight app. 150 lbs. . We've heard horror stores of hitches bending down under constant highway conditions with the carriers being dragged down the highway. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

The framing comming off the main trailer frame for your bumper and tire carrier are not substantial enough toto support the weight while traveling. I would guess the had a bbq pit that they used while camping. You might have a welder look into adding more support comming off the main frame, but I agree with Sam, I wouldn't chance it. If you damage the frame it will compromise the whole structure.Any replacement parts would be like looking for chicken teeth.
