Cowboy tire changer for twin axle horse trailer
In my former life as a non-Hi-Lo travel trailer owner, I used this method for changing my tires (if necessary). It works! I've had any number of people tell me that it won't work, but it did for my "old" trailer. Haven't checked it out yet with my "new" 1997 24' Hi-Lo, but see no reason it wouldn't work. I used three pieces of 2x6 each piece about 4" shorter than the other. Give it a try. Easier than pulling out a heavy jack and all the fixin's. I drilled holes in each 2X so that I could drop small bolts through to keep the boards from sliding.
THIS WON'T WORK ON SINGLE AXLE TRAILERS!!!!
