I have a 1999 Towlite Hi/Lo camper with a switch located above the counter where the fridge is, right next to an electrical outlet..
It does not control the outlet, so I have NO CLUE what it's for, as it's not marked...
Anyone know what it is used for?

I just bought a 2004 Towlite and mine has a black switch next to refrig that runs a cooling fan for the system ( refrig ) most likely when you are traveling with the top down. I started mine while the top was down and shortly you could hear a fan running. I have heard about these cooling fans before. My previous 1990 model HiLo did not have such a thing.

Our trailer had a rocker switch like this for “running lights” as well as for external lights that operated a porch light next to door and in front of the front window. Our refrigerator fan was included in the monitor.

This switch is for the refrigerator fan... this fan is used because of the hi lo design not having a vertical stack for the fridge...I mi feel the original fan is not adequate if you are camping in hot weather...90 plus...I modified my 2807C fan with 3 new 12v brushless computer fans from best buy...the do a much better job and are much quieter...the fan has a thermostat attached to the condenser coil located behind the louvered panel on the outside of the trailer

It's for your water pump when not hooked to a faucet. That's where mine is on my 95 and I don't have a fridge fan.

Francis - If you're checking this thread, you've just gotten some good information regarding the purpose of that switch. It would be nice if you'd respond and tell us if any of these posts helped.

I like the idea of it being a "Front Door Light", or, the Water Pump switch. My front door light is not labeled, but it is by the door. All the other switches are labeled in my trailer.
