Here's one more pic of the bed up in storage mode. The chain link works perfectly tightening when the camper is up and relaxing the chain when the camper is compressed.

    how to remove curtians

Hello, recently removed my curtains and wanted to share. 1st - remove all long screws that are hidden below outer sheath (see pic 1) These can be difficult but I found there are usually 3 across the top and 1 on the sides. You'll have to move the fabric to expose these screws. 2nd - once the...

Inverse Frame Deflection from Jack Levelers

I noticed mine does the same. I did see that there was some play where the door hinges are attached. I replaced the screws and added some washers and this helped a lot. If the trailer is pretty close to level there is still some resistance opening and closing.

    Bunk bed storage

Hi guys, did this mod the other day and decided to share. Lowering the bed allows to store all kinds of stuff (pillows, blankets, sheets, towels, etc) I highly recommend!

How does my roof look to you?

Hi all! This is my first camper and I'm a bit concerned regarding this summer and how my rubber roof will hold up. I do have cleaner and conditioner on order and will clean per directions as soon as it comes in. I did see an ad for a company that will redo roofs for campers and rv's. I...

    Arizona Hilo Club

bump for the above. Or if anyone can recommend a good company or person to take a look at mine. Nothing wrong at the moment (that I can tell) but would be nice to be reassured by someone who knows a lot about them. Thanks!

    leveling/tightening tension cables

Thanks guys! like I said one was real real loose (the locking nut was even backed out) and I tightened it (but not too much). My logic is tightening when on the rubber stops can't be different than tightening on 2x4's After lubing ALL the cables and pulleys I did notice a couple of spots where...

    leveling/tightening tension cables

I don't have qty 4 2x4's of the same length for the moment. I went ahead and lowered the unit. With the unit all the way down I was able to access the 4 bolts and reached behind the four bolts to check cable tension. I noticed the first upper left was really really loose. I went ahead and...

    leveling/tightening tension cables

Hi all, I want to make sure my decade old cables don't need any adjusting. I've looked at the "get four pieces of 2x4 instructions and lower" but had a question. If I lower the unit all the way down how is this different then lowering via 2x4's ? Is is normal to feel slack if I lower via the...

    showering and shower curtain . . .

I notice in my 2204T that the shower curtain only covers the exposed/open area where you come in and out; yet I see railing and extra hangers on the ceiling that covers 360 degrees. Am I supposed to be surrounded in shower curtains when I shower? That would protect the opposite wall but man...

    city water inlet

I'm looking at replacing my city water inlet brass connector and the white plastic part(it has a stress crack) that it's connected to (it's corroded and leaks). It looks like most places sell the part together. Do I just measure the diameter of the plastic part and start doing research matching...

    1st camper is a Hi-Lo !

ahh, the beauty of these forums. I'd never considered that. I will definitely research the pros and cons. you rock Rick! I have read quite a bit regarding adding a hitch to the frame and that it's pretty much ok as long as one keeps the weight down. I did read that if you do go heavy in the...

    1st camper is a Hi-Lo !

Thanks Rick! I've thought it out and have 4 options . . . 1. Keep doing what i'm doing. With the tailgate off the rear wheel just barely sticks out when the bike is in at an angle. I'd just really like to use my tonneau cover. 2. Gut out the inside to where I can fit my bike inside the...

Hi all! New here although I've been lurking for a few months. Recently got a good deal on a 2004 22TT and really diggin it! No more sleeping in the truck with the wife! For now I do a lot of trail riding and have been taking my rear tailgate off the short bed when I take the camper out...

heater will not stay on . . .

Thanks for the ideas guys. I'm going to pick up a regulator for cheap ($15-craigslist) tomorrow. Looks like I can also order a replacement thermostat for $15 on amazon. We'll see if these help.

heater will not stay on . . .

Hi all, I recently purchased a 2204T and love it! The only issue I'm noticing for now is the heater. I turn it on and it does come on with no issues but after about 20 or 30 minutes I hear a clicking noise and the blower will stop. About 3 seconds after the blower stops I'll hear a clicking...
