Well I did my first fill test of the freshwater tank today. As I was dumping water in, it was flowing right out a 4" hole where the drain line used to be. This oughta be fun!

The circular powered vent in our bathroom has a crack in the cover and has been leaking into the trailer, conveniently over the tub so we haven't worried about it too much. Now that I have plans for that area, I need to get it fixed. Where can I get a replacement vent for the bathroom? Just...

Typically the top of the fridge area becomes the 'bar' where mixed drinks are poured. The plan is the drawer right there will hold the bar utensils and such so it is all within reach. Bending over into a drawer when half in the bag is what I'm worried about. :-)

My '86 manual states that 23' and shorter use a 2" ball and longer trailers use a 2 5/16".

How much did it cost to have your lift done if you don't mind me asking? This seems to be the best option to me since I can use a shorter shank at that point as well. I just feel that skid wheels might be a cheaper option.

Since my older camper rides so low to the ground, I'd like to protect critical areas when a metal-scraping occurrence will happen. I've already bumped the hitch shank once backing out of the neighbors driveway (while unloaded) and this past weekend the skid plate around the sewer pipe drug on...

I actually think I have a top-end leveling problem that is preventing the top from going all the way up and the safety latch just barely engages. I'll be checking it out this weekend.

And now for the most important reason to have a hi-lo: Zero interaction of the camper with the 16' kayak I routinely take camping! Pic was taken at our first campout a week ago. Found that the electric didn't work, but that was an easy fix onsite. The plug had bad connections and taking it...

I tow a 27' that weighs 4750lbs and a 750lb tongue with my Jeep Commander rated to tow 6500lbs. With a proper weight distributing hitch it tows just fine. I tow dry but usually have a pair of kayaks loaded on the roof of the Jeep.
