Crack where underside of front end cap attaches to trailer

The exact same thing happened to us... almost. Except that my husband has a wife that is in charge of lowering the hi-lo and insists on walking around the rig to look for anything out of sorts before that happens. (This is after he says "good to go"). I found the drill standing upright...

Buying Hi Lo for Tiny home Housing in Hawaii. 2000 houses short of demand

Wow. That seemed a rather abrupt and rude reply to Lou, Dave.

Any Clubs or Hi Lo owners on here from WA?

Mystery switch and cord on back wall

Yes, our outlet for the air contioner cord is in a bathroom cubby. It's was not easy for us to find without really looking - and ours is also difficult to plug it in because of the angle, but it's there. Vicki

    Broken Freezer Door

We are ha ing the same problem. Our freezer door won't close. I have been reading the above comments and we'll try to fix it. It's almost as though the spring is working in reverse. When we open the refrigerator, the freezer door snaps down with force. Thanks for any help and for the posted...

    National Park Senior Passes

We got one in my husbands name a number of years ago. But when we heard about this increase, we decided to get one in my name also. Stopped in at a Ranger Station a week or so ago and it was no problem getting one for $10. Some areas still have them apparently. I got an email yesterday...

Boondocking but need DVD for kids at night

I didn't realize I had replied to a thread that is almost 5 years old. I'm rather new here. I will certainly pay more attention to dates in the future, although I can't figure out why it's apparently such a big deal. As to why I plug my tablet and cell phone into the charger in the Hi-Lo -...

Boondocking but need DVD for kids at night

I just use my tablet. Before we go, I download some movies onto the tablet from the library or from Hoopla. The kids are very happy with that. I use the 12V charger in the Hi-Lo to keep the tablet (and cell phones) charged.

Checking the Charge on a Battery

Jack, Thanks again for all the information and for the links. They were very helpful and it's much appreciated. We are leaving next week for the desert in northern Nevada and we are trying to be as informed and prepared as possible. We've done a lot of dry camping but this is the first time...

Checking the Charge on a Battery

Jack, Thank you. I was asking the question for my husband and apparently we used the word OHM meter incorrectly. I'm very sorry about that. In spite of apparently frustrating you, you were very kind in giving us such good information and direction. I have printed it out but we will also look...

Checking the Charge on a Battery

What setting on an OHM meter do you use to check the charge of a battery? Thank you.

    Solar Panel

Thank you so much, Jack. This was very informative and I think we'll stick to our generator. :o We suddenly have a much greater appreciation for it and will look at our solar panel as a nice roof decoration.

    Solar Panel

Bummer. So basically the panel is pretty useless. We store it in the garage so we use a trickle charger. I thought it was so cool that it came with a panel that would keep our battery charged in sunshine. No wonder we have had to use our generator. I thought it was because we were always...

    Solar Panel

We bought a used Hi Lo last year and we're wondering about the Solar Panel. Is it automatically on and working, when you're in the sun, or do we have to do something or turn something on? We've only camped in the forests and shade, but now we're heading to the desert and we would like to use...

    Switching to LED lights

Greg and Les, I wonder what these lights have over the ones recommended by Garry, Jack and Bob. The Amazon bulbs are twice the cost than the ones on M4. I'll have to take a closer look. Thanks for the info.

    Switching to LED lights

Thank you, Jack. We'll probably do the interior to begin with, and then do the exterior.

    Switching to LED lights

OH...Garry, did you change out just the porch light outside - or the brake lights, parking lights and everything exterior? I can see changing out the porch light but not sure what advantage "all of the exterior lights" would give us.

    Switching to LED lights

Thank you both so much. We will be ordering. :)

    Switching to LED lights

We have a 2009 1709T and would like to switch to LED lighting. So many people have recommended doing this but we're wondering if we have to replace the whole fixture or just the bulbs. Does anyone know? And where would we get the parts? Thank you. Vicki

    Brainstorming for storage

I would assume the space below the refrigerator has pipes or something and is not an empty space for a drawer or cabinet. I was happy to see the 2 cabinet doors beneath the couch in our 17' Towlight and thought it was more storage space - but there are also pipes running along the floor in there.

Any Clubs or Hi Lo owners on here from WA?

Hi... We recently bought a new to us, 2009 Hi Lo Towlight and have joined the Forum. Just wondering if there are any Clubs in Washington State... or any other HiLo owners on here from here? :o
