not sure if you found the vin yet but i have the same year and model as yours...vin is on the frame rail..passenger side....right where the battery box is...there is a sticker on the side rail and it is stamped on top of the frame rail (lightly)

mine was doing that ...i took the oil reservoir off the pump and it was full of sludge..the intake tube has a screen on it..it was also plugged...i cleaned everything out and it worked perfect

i would like to caulk the a/c unit but i cant get under it..anyone have any tricks for that?

i have some trim on my hilo and i wonder if it needs to be caulked ?...(see pic attached)...there is a horizontal strip )circled in red)...and a vertical strip (circled in yellow)....do these need to be caulked ?..i'm trying to fix all the little leaks on the unit

i need to replace or repair my escape hatch cover...its an oddball size..22x22..and of course its the most expensive one...lol...i was looking at it trying to figure out how to get it off...it looks like it is riveted on...has anyone replaced the cover on their hilo?

i've read on here some guys are running 2 small generators in parallel for double the watts....how is that done?...a cord with 2 male plugs...one on each end and plug the gennies together? ..i bought a honeywell 2200 gennie...it came with a double male plug.....anyone seen this before?

yes...mine is 2200 peak and 2k run...i thought about the hard start kits...i'm assuming they are just a big capacitor?

i bought some parts from an out of business rv store and have some extra....2 sets on bunk bed fold out legs...2 sets..both different lengths..17" and 20" $25 per set plus shipping....also some hilo awning brackets...$15 each plus shipping...

i got a great deal on a honeywell 2200 inverter generator...i tried to run the a/c on my 86 hilo and it wouldnt...if i turned the a/c to vent..it would run it but if i tried to switch it to medium cool it wouldnt start...i think if i could get it to start it would run...anyone have any info...
