I am the second owner of a 2020 Forest River/Rockwood Geopro G19FD camper. I purchased the unit 3/24/21. Best I can tell it has approximately 9500 miles on it total.
We just returned from a 3 week/3200 mile trip from NC, up through VT, NH, across Maine and then back down the beautiful Maine...
I have a 2018 TT. Brake shoe is defective. A quarter size piece broke free and hung up in the drum. Axle info is:
liem=V000112723
Serial #: S001578830
Capacity: 3500 Ibs
How do I go about ordering a replacement? Are these standardized?
We have Dexter Axles on our Flagstaff Micro Lite Model 25RKS. It looks to me like I will need to remove the trailer wheel to grease the wheel bearings without getting grease inside the hub/sleeve. Any ways around this? See pictures.
Also jacking up the trailer, where would you lift from...
Has anyone flipped the axles on their NoBo or IBEX? I have an IBEX 19MBH and I'd love to gain some extra ground clearance, but I'm a bit hesitant to mess with engineered ride height. Thanks!
For those that were complaining about my strong opinions on tires I will explain. Owning multiple vehicles and trailers over the years, I have been thorugh several brands with good and bad experiences.
All experiences had the same thing in common. Trying to save a buck buying cheap Chinese...
I baught a brand new trailer in 2018 drove it to FL 2000 miles and back when I arrived back home my 2 rear tires were completely worn. It was guaranteed so they said my axles in the rear was crouket, they replace the 2 new tires and put a new axle for free. This was done in June 2019. I got...
So last year, I returned from a road trip with bizarre wearing just on the outer shoulders of my tires on one side only. After much back and forth with the shop, I ended up taking it to a trailer alignment shop and getting a new set of Goodyear tires. It was very expensive.
A year later...
My FR RPod has Lippert Torsion axles and would like to know how to check them. I know they have a bad reputation and hope to spot issues before anything gets too bad (bearings are packed every winter)
I have severe tire wear on inside of one GYE tire. Only 2000 miles on it. Dexter zero help as I am 2nd owner. Notice the two tires are not parallel on that side. The front seems toed out by 1/2 inch, as measured by a level across both. No hits under my watch -3 year old Rockwood 26. Any...
When I look at the vertical alignment of my dual trailer wheels as its sitting on level ground, one of the wheels on both sides seem to be off vertical a bit and not inline with the other one. Like "maybe" 1" at the top,,,,
Not a whole bunch but noticeable enough that the wife commented on it...
I searched for a thread here about axle greasing, but couldn't find one. What's the concensus about pumping grease into the zirc fitting on the Lippert axle -vs- removing the wheel and hand greasing the bearings? Based on a little research, it seems like many people think it is too easy to...

I've towed 3 or 4 different double axle trailers over the last 30 years, always in the range of 20' to about 24'. I've notices now that manufacturers are making single axles in that same size and weight range as the double axles I'm used to.
I read opinions that double axle is better for...
Hello,
Where would I be able to order the left front hub seal for my 2016 Legacy please?
I’m located in Belgium/Europe and my technician does not know where to order.
Thanks in advance.
Pics attached.
All, we're 900 miles into a 6-week 3,000 mile trip. I packed the bearings on my Mini-Lite before we left. Everything looked fine. Except for the brakes not being adjusted ideally, I've never had a problem with axles, wheels, bearings, rims or tires.
Today we noted the front right wheel is...
How far forward of the rear bumper is the axle, or center of wheel, on the High Wall 277 and 296. I need the distance to figure out whether the trailer can make a turn going into storage.
My husband greased the axles on our 2017 2109S and got replacement rubber parts that fit on to the end of the axle. He has been working all afternoon trying to get them back on. He's hot and frustrated. I'll try to attach photos of the part and the axle. How do you get the darn things on?
My 22RBHL came with no information relating to the axles, although I have a feeling that they are Dexter.
1) How can I accurately identify the specific axles?
2) How or where can I then find information on when I should check the grease and or any other maintenance points?
On other trailers...
Hi everyone, I like many others from what I can gather am having a hard time finding a lift kit for my Palomino T-21FB. It has an Alko diamond shaped torsion double axle with 6.5 inches of space between bolts. Anybody out there find anything that fits?
Has anyone that has flipped the axles (moved to under the springs) on their grey wolf camper to get more ground clearance had any concerns or issues caused by it? If not are you happy with the end result?
We have finally re-connected with our 2019 DX3 after twenty months of service and Canadian/US border restrictions. Having now imported it into Canada, an inspection has revealed the failure of front spring pin bushings, that are apparently not covered by the Freightliner warranty. The unit has...
I’m the second owner of a 5.0 TA and just took it out for its first long trip. Over 3500 miles one of the four tires wore significantly on the outside shoulder. I noticed it halfway through the trip and watched it get worse as we headed home. We have a TPMS so I kept a close eye on that tire as...
I’ve only had single axle trailers, until next week when I get my upgraded Spirit XTR with a dual axle. Trying to figure out if I need to get additional chocks, or will 4 still work?
Do I chock each wheel, if so needing 8?
I’ve seen the X chocks, do I need those?
On the road for less than an hour and bearing failure started on fire wheel fell off in parking lot at repair shop thankfully and not while going down the road. Seems like they are cutting it close with 4400# axles on a camper that over 9K loaded and also only 10" brakes. Had to leave it 8 hours...
