breaker

When running the AC off the generator while driving, the circuit breaker on the AC trips. No problem when stationary, only while moving. Any thoughts?

My first long trip. Hot day, and the AC unit trips off the main breaker, 15A. Frig is also running. Each have their own 15A breaker, but the main trips. Seems to me that the main should be 30A, (or something higher than 15A) to match the power plug and campground connection.
