You can put a ceiling fan in the Hi-Lo? Is it a ceiling hugger? I gotta get me one of those! :)

Ratmouser, I may have misled you. The fan I was talking about was the factory installed vent fan above the kitchen area. It was noisy and didn't really do much.

I've replaced it with a Fan-Tastic vent fan that is much quieter, moves more air, is thermostatically controlled and closes the vent automatically if it rains. And, it uses less electricity! It was a simple swap and well worth it.

Hi, Tim.

I got it online, but I don't recall the source. The one I got is the most expensive one. It has a remote control that sets the fan to operate at a specified temperature, or, allows manual operation. And, as I said, it has a rain sensor that closes the vent if it rains, so you can leave it open while you're away or sleeping and it closes or opens as needed to keep the rain out and cool the trailer.

I thought, when I bought it, that I was putting in "overkill", but since having it, I've not regretted a single penny. It was very easy to install, and connected to the wiring that was there for the Mattel toy fan that HiLo installed.

i think it was this one: Amazon.com: Fan-Tastic Vent 6600R SMOKED Vent with Reverse and Rain Sensor Variable Speed with Remote 6600: Automotive

Wow

Thanks for the info on the fan. The price puts it down low on the next item to buy / replace so it might be a while for us.
New tires have a higher place on the list and then a few other things.
I remember the old days when I had money not change of course that was before the change happened.
Could have bought that fan then. And the tires and and

My 2209 came with a Fantastic Fan, standard model, it only has temperature control, which I love, turns off at night when it gets cold.

We have a Fantastic Fan - factory installed in the main area.

We installed a VORTEX fax in the bathroom.

We love them both.

The Vortex fax is considerable less expensive with no options, but is also a very good fan for air movement.

We carry two, battery powered fans. They can run for a very long time on 4 D-cells. We also carry a 110 VDC, 9" diameter. We use this one when we are camping at a location with power.

You can add a vent cover intended for the fantastic fan, then you can run it when it rain. It comes in very handy during hot weather if you can't use your A/C when boondocking.
