I have a 73 hi low camper. Hit the breaks hard and battery came of the compartment breaking where it connects to hydraulic pump. Last few owners were not smart to not secure it. Any help would very much appreciated. A thank you in advance!:) will add picture of part soon. Maybe some one knows the part. I'm new to this. Tried scouring the net for parts. Good thing this forum came up.

Roogy, my battery is held down by a upside-down U-shaped metal rod (about 1/8" thick as I recall). It is threaded at both ends, which extend through the battery box floor. Under the floor, they go through a rectangular metal plate which is then held in place by nuts secured to the rod ends. This holds my battery in place very securely.

Thank you for your response. I went to a local rv repair shop and showed them an electrical part that works the hydraulic jack on my camper. So happy to find out I could just by solenoid that I was able to buy at local parts store. As for securing the battery, I bought 2 kleets to tie it down for now.
