The outside high temp was approx 95 degrees and we have 2 air conditioners that could not keep up. It took approx 4 hours (daytime) to cool interior. We had both set on 69 degrees and it would not get below 73 degrees inside. Does this mean something is wrong with our A/C? Also, our bedroom...

On other forums that I belong too there is often a thread dedicated to a particular item where you can find pictures, modifications, and ask "help" questions that other owners can answer for you.
I just purchsed my 312QBUD last month and I have noticed that there isn't a dedicated owners thread...
Hello Everyone,
We bought our 2016 FR3 (30ft) a few months ago and have been having problems with our moto rhome not really cooling very well. We previously owned a 26' travel trailer which had a nice big dinette/sofa slide out. We had no problems with the air keeping it very comfortable, even...
Opened up the filter grill on a Dometic 13.5 ducted air conditioner and happened to notice this little orange wire sticking out by itself. All the other wires have mates, blue to blue, brown to brown so on, although the mating wires are not always the same color.
There is no orange wire for it...
We went camping in Pueblo state park a couple of weeks ago. Once we got set up in the 95 degree weather, we tried turning on the air to cool off. Nothing! Husband finally took the cover off and the plug had came undone. He can get the plug together enough to turn on but not so it "clicks"...
Hi all, just purchased a new 2016 salem hemisphere, and it came with the 13500 btu a/c, it just can not keep up when temp. is over 80 deg. So I have decided to add a 13500 to the bedroom, the rv is a 5th whl and was wired and framed for the bed room a/c so no problems there, I need to know...
The A/C works great but will cycle off when it hits temp but will not cycle back on. Found ourselves using just the fan to avoid resetting it every 45-hour. Thoughts?
Does anyone have issues keeping the camper cool. I just purchased a Salem hemisphere 368RLBH (2015). I live in Alabama and it's running mid 90's outside. I have both AC units on with living area thermostat set at 76 and it's running 82 in the living area and 77 in the master bedroom. With...
I am sure that it is my fault, since I just picked my 2016 Forest River Heritage Glen 356qb, but I can't get the A/C to come from the roof vents. I closed the vents on the unit, thinking that would divert the air, but it did not. The thermostat is set at 60 and the fan is set to auto. There is...
I've noticed my airconditioner seems to work less efficiently when I'm towing my mini lite tt uphill on a hot day. Is this a normal expected decreased function under these conditions or should I get it checked out. The unit works perfectly when the engine is not under extreme load.
We love our Prism, traveled for 3 months in Florida last winter.
Only complaint is the air conditioner freezes up or does not cool enough to make unit comfortable, also extremely noisy.
Husband use to do air conditioning in homes and thinks unit is undersized or not enough refrigrate in unit...
New RV air conditioner that can’t keep up? :crying:
I’ve seen this complaint on FRF a number of times in the past few weeks from folks who have just purchased their first new RV. I thought I’d share my experience. (YMMV) In a nutshell, there wasn’t anything wrong with my air conditioner. But...
The roof a/c - when the compressor is on - makes a warble type noise. Almost a fluttering sound. It cools just fine. This is on a class C Sunseeker. Any ideas?

Our air conditioning unit is loud and it seems to be air noise. Hard to listen to the TV and even to talk. Has anybody else experienced this and how was the problem solved?
Thanks
I was wondering if anyone had any experience with an issue i am experiencing.
Last week i purchased a 2016 Coachmen 320 BHDS Freedom Express Liberty Edition and when i picked it up, it was cold outside so we could not effectively test the A/C. We upgraded the A/C unit from the standard to the...

Ok we have a camper that is not 9 months old. Today it was 83 degrees with not a lot of shade. The camper was not cooling off good after about 1:00. It was almost as hot in as outside. Is this normal or should we go to the dealer about this before the warranty runs out. The funny thing is 2...
Hello everyone,
I originally posted this in the Prime Time specific thread but realized that I should have posted it here.
We were out camping this weekend for our second time in our 2015 Prime Time Avenger 26BH and it was warm enough that I could test out the AC. Unfortunately it only blew...
On my Trilogy, I has a third AC added when at the factory having other work completed. That was last year in Aug/Sept. Last week, the third AC (13.5K) started vibrating and then a loud series of bangs. After shutting it off, my son came over and got on the roof to see what happened.
And this...
