Hello, we are camping for our second trip in our new camper. For anyone who has this unit is the air conditioner loud? I've noticed that ours is very loud. It wakes me up when it kicks on. When sitting outside I am surprised at how loud it is. It does cool very well. Just curious if other's...

New Prime Time Avenger 26BH Air Conditioner

Hello everyone, We are currently on our second outing with our 2015 26BH and it was finally warm enough to do a test run on the AC. I fired it up with the fan on high and was less than impressed. It was 74 in the camper and putting a thermometer in the blowing air it was reading 68. I couldn't...

30 amp breaker trips when air conditioner and refrigerator cycle at same time

I have a 2014 Forest River DS3010 (Class C). The fridge is a stainless steel double door model with typical fridge/ freezer combo. As an electrician, I realize that both draw high amps when each compressor is on. My question is: Other than living with the freezer using gas only or not...

    adding 2nd air conditioner to FR3 30DS

I am wondering if anyone has added a second air conditioner to their bedroom in their FR3 30DS. My experience traveling out west in 95+ degree heat last summer was my single 13,500 BTU unit air conditioner could not keep our RV at a comfortable 78 degrees in the heat of the day even with all...

    FR3 Air Conditioning

Let me start that my now menopausal wife likes a cold camper! I have noted that some have had issues with their AC units not cooling sufficiently. I'm looking for input from FR3 owners: when summer camping with outside temps in the 90's, does the unit keep the inside relatively cool? Thanks.

    Water drainage from air conditioning

We did our walk through this morning. At the end, we noticed that quite a bit of water was coming out of a drain under the bottom of the unit......water from the air conditioning we're assuming. Is this normal? If so, how do you direct the water away from you so that it doesn't soak...

    Air Conditioning

Anyone else having issues with the AC unit not being able to keep the unit cool once temps are above 90 outside? We've had the AC breaker trip multiple times and it's unable to keep the RV cooler than 10-15 degrees cooler than the outside temp, at best. There have been times when it was 97...

    Air Conditioner Removal

I would like to remove my 13.5k bedroom air conditioner in order to reduce overall height of my 2012 Cedar Creek 34 RLSA. I almost never use it and I would rather have better height clearance. If I remove it, how will it impact my electronic Dometic thermostat?? Can anyone offer any tips on...

Air conditioner very loud. Mine was put together wrong.

The air conditioner in my Rockwood 2306 was loud. We thought that it was because we had a larger unit put in. It is a Coleman Mach. We just cranked up the TV sound when the air came on. After one season of this I decided to do what I can to sound proof it. I have a background in sound...
