Oh Boy! I’m glad I found it now... at least I know before camping.
I’ve had my 2005 Surveyor parked out in my yard for about two weeks now and I finally hooked up water to check the plumbing out. When I turn the hose on and went outside I noticed that there was water rushing down what looked...
Hello
I am just curious if others have this happen.
We have a 2011 Sunseeker 3120DS.
When we disconnect from the city water connection, water shoots out like there is still pressure in the system.
This just started to occur. We usually just have a little drop or dribble of water when we...
I have a 2015 243 RBS and would like to repair a loose city water connection. Is there anyone that knows how to access the rear wall of the unit on the inside of the coach to perform a repair?? I am looking at the city water pressurized hose line.
Thanks in advance!
when I turned on my pump I could hear it running but it wouldn't pressure up, I got some flow through kitchen faucet which turned out to be antifreeze so I'll have to flush the system which is fine. The reason it wouldn't pressure up is that water/antifreeze was squirting out the city water...
While camping yesterday I found water coming out my fresh water inlet. Thank was empty when we arrived. I drained fresh, then turned city water hose back on and a little while later once again fresh tank wash pushing out water. 2017 Micro Lite 23fb. If pump valve is problem, can I get to it. I...
I've been "fixin" to install a small expansion tank for a while, but having a heckava time finding a spot that's (relatively) easy to access and maintain should maintenance become necessary. On our Apex 22QBS there's a good spot very near the city water hook-up & I'm thinking I'll just put the...
Hooked up to city water in the RV Resort last night when it was raining, so didn’t check everything as close as I usually do.
I noticed the water pressure regulator never got over 20 psi (I have it set at 40 psi). This morning after it stopped raining, I noticed water was pouring from the two...
Hello all,
Been a while since I last posted and have been enjoying our trailer a great deal since it’s purchase in 2017.
My trailer is a 2017 393RL Sandpiper and my question is as follows:
My trailer is permanently parked in a private trailer park and both electricity and water is supplied...
Hello so we just bought our Forest River Wolf pup at the end of February. We took it out for one night and noticed that when we hooked it up to the city water it filled our fresh water tank. Per advice from people and the mechanic from where we bought it from we ran the pump several times and...

Hello, I have a 2019 Georgetown GT5 31L5. I place an adjustable water pressure limiter at the city source when I hook up. I have it set at +/- 45 psi. I have noticed many rigs (all different manufacturers) set at various rates including much higher than 45 psi. Does anyone know the recommended...
I have a 2017 Cherokee 304r, when i hook to city water, the water comes out of the black hose underneath. Also I emptied the fresh water tank and hooked into city water and it refilled the tank. Am i doing something wrong?
Need some help please. I a am looking for a "City Water connection Decal". Not having much luck locating one. Would anyone happen to know where I can order one? Really didn't think it would be this difficult finding one.
Thanks for your help.
Preparing a trip from Ohio to Florida next week and due to some fantastic luck with the weather I was able to work on the Motorhome in 60 degree weather in March. But here is where I have come across a problem that my search on the Forum has not shown exactly, somewhat of the reverse I have...
Hi there!
All new to the RV life! So i connected the city water to the rv last night. 30 minutes after i’m hearing water leaking outside. Once out i see water overflowing from the Fresh water tank entry. Then i go back inside to check the tank levels: galley and fresh water are full but were...
Hi all, New to this site and also new to RV'g. Just bought a Sabre 36BHQ. Living in it full time. So were at our RV home site and hooked up to the city water. Working great all day. Went to bed and in the morning water was leaking out under the RV. Come to find out the water holding tank...
Look as I may in the provided and on-line literature for our 2020 Forester 3011DS, I find no mention of what Forest River suggests as maximum acceptable water pressure for the City Water inlet. I have my thoughts and belief on the matter, but was hoping to learn of their formal recommendation.
Looking for how people hook up the city water to their TT's. With our brand new trailer I am probably over thinking this but I have two questions:
Regulator Placement:
- At the spicket?
- At the the TT?
Hose connection:
- What do you do to take the tension from the hose off the TT...
Good day,
We are new to the RV lifestyle. We will be starting out this March and looking forward to it. We have a 2014 Forest River Tracer and have been making changes to it before we hit the road. I have run into something that I am sure must be a common mistake. When I connect my water line...
I am having a water pressure issue with the cold water line. The hot water is fine but the cold water pressure is low in all sinks and shower. Water filter is brand new and I also tried bypassing the filter. Any ideas what is causing this?? Thank you in advance!
So I always winterize my own camper. I normally blow it out with compressed air. Then I draw antifreeze in through the pump bypass. I know it's overkill, but it puts my mind at ease. This year compressed air was not an option so I simply drew antifreeze in through the water pump. I stumbled upon...
I connected to city water and the next day the fresh water tank started overflowing even though I have never use the fresh water tank. How does the water get into the fresh water tank and how do I stop it?
I have 3 water connectors for garden hoses on my 2014 Vibe 6504 and all 3 are seized and will only turn with pliers. I tried spraying with silicone lubricant and when that failed I tried WD40 but still no luck. Has anyone else had a similar issue?
